Oakenlix 79 Report post Posted January 29, 2017 "somebody liked a post", "2 people like this" - What's up with the anonymity of likes for forum posts? Why was the old system removed where you could actually see the names? I don't care how many likes my post has, I'm not going for presidental election or something. What I care about is who is the person who agreed with my post - is it someone whose opinion matters a lot to me or is it some stranger? Maez 4 Report post Posted January 29, 2017 I see it sort of like the "X people found this helpful" feature on steam or upvotes/downvotes in reddit. Take it with a grain of salt; either way, what somebody tells you in a forum could be completely wrong (or right) anyway. I will generally quote posts to give examples if I want to help someone make an argument.
