NostHelge 0 Report post Posted February 8, 2017 Hey guys, I know that the WDB-Folder should be automatically recreated on launching the game. However there is no folder created and I have the feeling, that some Itemstats are wrong. E.g. the Coil of the Elements (Head T0.5) is marked as "Classes: Shamans" for me. I became curious because a paladin was carrying those and my guildmates said, that is was possible due to "No classbinding" http://imgur.com/a/WPmaZ Back to the Question... I think this inconsistency comes from a corrupted WDB or Cache folder. But I do not have one of those. Even my WTF folder just contains the config.wtf with IP-Adress, camera distance, ... Anyone got an Idea where the inconsistency comes from?

Ullieth 1 Report post Posted February 9, 2017 Is your WoW installation folder in C:\Program Files? If so, move it. Modern versions of Windows don't like programs trying to modify the content of this folder.
NostHelge 0 Report post Posted February 9, 2017 Guys, thanks for the answers, even so some of you are clearly overestimating my hack0rskillz. The WoW folder is in C:\Program Files, but I change the read access to alter the realmlist, which was not possible before. I'll try what you recommended. And will give an update later.

(Thanks to Alphasin) WDB, Log and WTF were now recreated on first startup. Thants to you all. I vote for closing this thread. (Solved)
