Nikkip 0 Report post Posted February 16, 2017 Hello! Fresh Tauren here. Just turned level 10 and learned tame pet. I want an owl so I followed this guide to get it. http://deathraygames.com/articles/walkthroughs/wow-horde-owl/ the problem is that every time i die in Darkshore i get teleported back to the spirit healer in Splintertree post instead of the closest one in Darkshore. Thats a good 15 min corpse run to Auberdine and since I have to do it 6-7 times just to get to Darnassus its starting to get a bit tedious. I wonder if I i still will get teleported back to Kalimdor if I die in Darnassus... Is it because of the older patches preventing the horde from using alliance spirit healers? Has anyone else succesfully gotten an owl from Darnassus as horde? 0 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Nikkip 0 Report post Posted February 17, 2017 The weird thing is that when I die in northern Ashenvale i respawn just outside Astranaar but when i die in Darkshore i get teleported to Splintertree post. Anyway I just got a bat from Tirisfal glades. It looks like crap but stat-wise it´s basically the same thing as an owl. 0 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Roxanne Flowers 15 Report post Posted February 18, 2017 If you aren't willing to put up with the corpse runs needed to get up on top of (and away from) Teldrassil, the only option you've got is to wait about 40 Levels or so. You can get an Ironbeak Owl in Felwood at Level 48+. The only other pets that can use Screech are: http://web.archive.org/web/20070222054502/http://petopia.brashendeavors.net/html/families/family_carrion.shtml http://web.archive.org/web/20070222054159/http://petopia.brashendeavors.net/html/families/family_bat.shtml Given the appearance of the respective beasts, the Owl is the best looking appearance, but the most restrictive diet. Other than that, there's the "status" symbol of being a low level Horde who has gotten to the top of Teldrassil, which is a grueling corpse run for a lowbie Hunter, and "stolen" an Owl from the Night Elves.
