mbd 2 Report post Posted March 4, 2017 Hey, just got a quick question, it's been a while since I've played Vanilla. Is the only real use from Tailoring after MC/BWL the Bloodvine set? Which iirc is replaced at AQ/Naxx? Also is the Bloodvine set BoE? If it is I'm thinking Herb/Alch is probably the better choice, will save my sanity for raid prep and can just use the money I make from that to buy the Bloodvine set. Unless there are some other OP BoP items from Tailoring which I've forgotten about for a Warlock, or any other benefits to having Tailoring? Thanks
TheDruidCode 28 Report post Posted March 4, 2017 Bloodvine is BoE but you need 300 tailoring to get the set bonus.
mbd 2 Report post Posted March 4, 2017 Ah ok, thanks. Do you know roughly what sort of performance increase is it on the earlier raid gear, such as MC or BWL? Also do you know when it's replaced? I think I remember it being AQ but not 100% sure.
Aethelwulf 12 Report post Posted March 15, 2017 (edited) There's a BoP tailoring item for Warlocks, the Robe of the Void. It's an epic chest with 14 stamina, 46 spell damage, and an on-use pet heal (450-751, 10 min cooldown). It has its uses if you want to PvP as Soul Link, but it's generally inferior to T2 and above. Typically the number one reason to be a Tailor is because Bloodvine is BiS for raiding. 3/3 Bloodvine is not replaced before AQ. Guybrush 11 Report post Posted March 15, 2017 Be Herb / Alch until ZG, then Herb / Tailor when ZG comes out and train alchemy on an alt.
