Hey,

I just found this in the HellGround forums and in the toc it says that it is compatible with v1.9 and higher, which means maybe it can make a difference for vanilla as well. Maybe some would like to look into it.

It claims to increase the ingame performance and decrease the loading time.

I can confirm this for tbc but not really for vanilla yet.

If you want to use it, you have to change the Interface version to 11200 in the toc file.

EDIT: Tried it and game definitely loads a lot faster! However if I relog I get an error:

...Interface\AddOns\!!!ImpulseBooster\ImpulseBooster.lua:46: Attempted to register too many CVars

If I want to relog or change character I have to restart the game completely, otherwise ImpulseBooster wont load.

Apparently this addon only plays around with some DirectX console variables so loading time that is caused by addons won't be affected what so ever.

Vanilla loading screens already takes about 1 sec for me to get through without any addons enabled so I don't see much use for this :/

It is not my mod, I just discovered it and thought it would be useful for someone. It doesnt do anything for me, unfortunately.

Loading time is the same on vanilla =)

lol TBC loading time +3 sec longer w/ this addon =)))
