FaithJr 0 Report post Posted March 11, 2017 (edited) so i have duo mobile on my account to keep it safe, however i recently got a new phone, and the duo mobile app hasnt linked my account. it needs the little qr code scan, but i cant remember where i got that from, and i cant log into my account dashboard without it either! ... seems im in a bit of a pickle. could someone point me in the right direction please. from discourd it seems a gm needs to disable 2FA so i cen reset it Edited March 11, 2017 by FaithJr 0 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

SaintPaul 1 Report post Posted March 14, 2017 Log ticket in game. Admin will disable and re-enable 2FA on your account which will generate an email with a new QR code on. I'd be very polite and apologetic in your ticket though or admins might just tell you no. Two things worth mentioning: 1) This is entirley your fault. It's how 2FA works. Don't ever delete the QR code on any 2FA system. 2) Complaining here gets you nowehere, admins don't bother wading through all the whining... 0 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

manetheren 1 Report post Posted March 15, 2017 have same problem. lost phone with app. resolve problem with eve & steam (can send code via mail) and reconnect 2fa myself. it's human factor, but it's novice for this new project. many people have this problem ))))) lost access for they account, after lost access for app. qr code it's - just second factor of auth (2FA).first factor - mail. then, obviously, have access to e-mail - can return access for u'r account. it's logical 0 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
