Undertanker 88 Report post Posted April 13, 2017 I think you are all doing a great job as a team hitting these forums when needed. We've had in the past long periods of time where important issues wouldn't be addressed much less acknowledged. No contribution to open discussions, and only times we'd see a post would be a smart ass comment followed by a quick lock, preventing anybody from responding to it w/o having to create a new thread which would then get locked. I've noticed a change in the overall feeling of the forums in the last couple weeks when you guys actually respond/comment on issues. We know answers can't always be provided, you guys are kept in the dark on some issues/items, and people in general can be unreasonable in their request/statements. But when you take a few minutes out of your time to say SOMETHING/ANYTHING it does mean a lot of the community that ideas, thoughts, and opinions are heard by seeing direct responses to them. Tl:Dr - Good job.
PeterGryphon 0 Report post Posted April 13, 2017 +1. Good job. In addition, the number of trolls here seems to have reduced massively in the last few weeks. It's actually a nice place to visit now. Keep it up!
killerduki 54 Report post Posted April 13, 2017 I agree with @Undertanker , this action should been taken little more earlier tho , but it is never too late ;) I think Discord is part of what currently for a reason made this Project vulnerable and destroyed, Elysium should take over a look on Discord and probably stop using it as main tool except few Support Representatives there. Q: Why i pointed Discord? A: The direct problems came out from there , 60-70% of the Doxxing/Leaking manipulation came straight from there. Q: What's the Alternative? A: Let Community Managers only use Discord, not Admins , not Developers. Q: Isn't too late now since we have Public Dev Discord? A: Let that Discord being used only by Developers while it remain public, Admins (GM,System Admin,Head Admin), should take over their task under shadows without being exposed. There wouldn't be Whitekidney drama if he was not exposed in Discord, he could still work in Project behind the scene. /Kind regards Killerduki
PeterGryphon 0 Report post Posted April 13, 2017 Isn't it a good thing that any shady business is exposed - and the reason things are now moving forward and in a better direction? Why do you want devs working behind closed doors as opposed to openly?

Guest Report post Posted April 13, 2017 Discord itself is and never was the problem. Replace it with any other medium and what happened would have still happened. Back on-topic - I have rear-patted our CM's privately on multiple occasions, as we do appreciate them just as much.

Why do you want devs working behind closed doors as opposed to openly? There is no "Shady" if you want to keep the project plans private , this is not project to make Business, this is project with volunteers to make this Game better for us. Since they went to step where devs no longer working behind closed door , they will be now openly exposed to public criticism , Developers job is not "Public community" , Developers job is to fix the codes, issues etc . Quality Assurance are the ones who should take care and speak with "Public Community" regarding issues. Sorry for bringing this Offtopic. /Kind regards Killerduki
PeterGryphon 0 Report post Posted April 13, 2017 But devs were accused of making this project business, or at least profiting from it like they would business. If devs are working openly and honestly why are they exposed to public critisim? I as a player am very grateful for their time and efforts. Without them this place wouldn't exist. If they are doing what they say they are - making this game better for us like you say - they have nothing to fear? Don’t get me wrong, I’m not on my high horse – at the end of the day this project is free and only exists because of volunteers so they should work however the hell they like. I just prefer the new “open doors” system personally.
killerduki 54 Report post Posted April 13, 2017 Quote But devs were accused of making this project business, or at least profiting from it like they would business. Devs was not accused but Admins was accused via Discord leaking/doxxing with manipulative Photoshop edits , no evidence was given , accusations wouldn't be made if they were not exposed there , if they did not overreact in discord and reddit , if they completely ignored like it never happened or make 1 simple denying statement only 1 time. Quote If devs are working openly and honestly why are they exposed to public critisim? I as a player am very grateful for their time and efforts. Without them this place wouldn't exist. That's because Ying and Yang are not the same , there are many cultures, many civilizations , i will put an example where people from USA are loudest people to criticize even the poor little bird , to even insult, they believe what they do is proper , in fact is quite the opposite. Quote If they are doing what they say they are - making this game better for us like you say - they have nothing to fear? Yep they do , they don't force you to pay in order to play this game , they don't open Pay2Win and Shop to profit , still they are struggling and crumbling by public criticism and manipulation by haters. /Kind regards Killerduki
