Hi,

 

Should TF be used as MH or as OH weapon?
I'm not sure what to do with it.

I would think it would be an OH weapon with it's high speed. However, most guilds will give TF to their MT first, and then their OTs, meaning the chances of a dps warrior getting TF are next to none.

+net DPS is higher in MH since you'll get procs from speial attacks and a major portion of TF's damage is from the proc itself. You will however experience some major threat issues.

They recently patched Thunderfury to be Main Hand only (Anathema). I believe it goes back to being a off hand option sometime around Naxx.

To clarify,

Giving Thunderfury to anyone but a tank is a meme. There were tanks that used it throughout TBC. It's not as bad as people make it sound as fury since you have a natural threat reduction in fury stance. But I believe there are better offhand weapons later in Vanilla for both rogue and warrior.

Yep, if the first TF doesn't go to the MT, the MT either got unlucky by missing the raids with the bindings or the guild is trash. The guild being trash is far more likely as MTs are required to have nearly perfect attendance if they don't want to cripple their guild.

In Battle Stance and Berserker Stance, all threat from a Warrior is multiplied by 80%. In defensive stance, the multiplier is 130%. With Defiance, it is 145%.
