New Updates in the future ?

I Never Played WoW before actually but I watch it on youtube and a few streamers on twitch will this server get the expansion in the near future like increase the level cap and new maps and dungeons and updates to the graphic and UI bec its kinda diff from what iam watching on youtube as an example there is shadows on the newest expansion ....... etc iam rlly excited to play this game iam downloading it right now to join this game

I believe it has been stated that moving onto new expansions is NOT in the plans for this server.

Why not I mean if they keep the vanilla expansion forever players might get bored from doing the same thing every single day eventually players will leave and abandon the server for the lack of contents so if they bring a new expansion every year or half year might get players excited and new players will join in or simply all players will get bored and leave the server so bringing new expansion is a good thing ( pardon me but I never played this game but it's a logical thinking lack of content in a mmorpg game means loseing players till nothing left )

Because, developing these servers take a lot of time. This is not blizzard with 100+ devs working fulltime jobs creating it.

Most private servers spend 5+ years just developing a single expansion

All Iam saying that they have to bring a new expansion as soon as they can or else every one will just leave due to lack of content and I hope they do it I Rlly like it in here despite that I never played this game and I can't w8 to play this game on this server

No they dont. Yes the population will drop when naxx is done and farmed to death, but it will live on. 

Many people hope for a tbc server in the future (as do i) but i am here for the vanilla experience and that is what elysium provide. If i decide i wanna play tbc, i will create an account on a tbc private server.

Why not motivate them to bring us the new expansion instead of downloading a different client from a different server if u like it in here .... then motivate them to make their server much better than any other server

hopefully it will remain only vanilla. no one will get bored of it. there is alot to do. i have been playing since nostalrius opened and i say i think i have played only 10% of what vanilla has to offer.

If you have read these forums, you would understand that these suggestions no longer serve as motivation, but nagging.

This question gets asked a minimum once per week, GMs coming in to say "were not planning on doing this"

All we can do is hope that they have secretly worked in the shadows, and one day come fourth to suprise us with good news.

There is still 1-2 years of content still coming, depending on what realm you are on. So there is no rush for now anyway

I think Yatomise,  you dont understand , why this server exists.

 

Half of the playerbase of elysium played most of all expansions the last 13 years!

 

These players came back to play exactly this part ( the earlierst form of WoW)

They dont want to play another expansion , and many players would left this Project in case they would expanse it !

And im not sure if you realizes how many Days of playtime you invest in this game(per expansion ) 

 

I have friend in a world top 25 Guild on life Server ( legion).

I just talked last week to him , and he told me he has over 800 Days ! Played time in that 13 years on his Account.

And he said there are people in his game which has way more.

Atm yatomise the Server Elysium pvp has content for about 2 years before it would official out to date like back in days to Blizzard servers.

Just try this 2 years and then you can anyway decide to stay or to leave and try another free pirate server ( thats why you dont have to pay anything )

All they do is for free and the content they create is charity and their own free time , you play games in your free time they work to create content and overwatch it .

If I wanted other expansions, I would play other expansions. The second this server goes to TBC (if it ever did), it would die within a day or two.
