Battle Ground afking at ElysiumPvP

Is there any plans to improve the system against afk players in Battle Grounds ?

i know that on both faction sides alot of players in every BG are afk at start or after the first 2 minute. i played about 300 bg´s only last week i have over 40 screenshots from players with 0/0/0 stats or just staying after after 2 minutes and leeching honor.

 

reporting ingame an afk player costs 3-5 days ingameticket waiting time. means 2 per week. but there are hundreds atm. they just stay at stables/Farm or Graveyard at wsg.

 

and every week it gets worse and worse.

 

dont arguing get a premade, i have one from time to time :) 

that isnt the case, people go into bg´s and have in mind to go afk before the uses the queue button.

sure but what are the consequences when i see them 2 days later or 4 days later again afking?

They have to be caught in the act.

If you want to record proof as in screenshots and videos, submit them in your ticket.

 

Also punishment is based on previous warnings and suspensions.

If it's their first time it's usually only a warning.

i reported now 1 player 3 times in 4 weeks , and hes still online and in bg´s 

and i never uses the same screens or something because i dont like him as person. i just dont understand how this can happen and if there will be some improvements

They have a population of 8000+ alone on Elysium to take care of, in addition to 2 other very well populated servers and one that is being migrated soon, but still needs support eventually.

 

If you have a suggestion about this, put it in the suggestion forums.

A "Report AFK" button like on retail will just create the same abuse it has on retail.

What they need to add is a unanimous vote to kick option.  It's tilting to see a close game lost because some lamer is in the gy for 10 mins doing nothing.  We can't rely on the gms to fix the afk problem, there just aren't enough of them and they don't have the time.

Keep in mind that adding a TBC-like AFK report feature would require creating a new client, which isn't something that will happen. We're limited to what is available within the 1.12 client/server.
