BadnewsBetty 0 Report post Posted July 7, 2017 I have a hard time believing some people don't consider it a ninja move. It was an upgrade for the warrior, the priest can't even swing it, so it's gonna end up as profit for him. But if it was BOP then it's ninja...why? An epic BOP can still be vendored for some golds and therefore translates into an upgrade for the ninja. Needing on a boe for a 90g profit is okay, but needing on a bop for a 6g profit is not okay?

Doesn't matter. People ninja valuable items, not copper ore. That said... when an epic drops, or something else rare/valuable people may need it. This is why you don't press "greed" on BoE epics.... regardless of who "claims" they will use it. As far as we know this warrior would have sold it on the AH but only claimed he would have used it. You never know, and this is why you be fair about it and play it safe by allowing EVERYONE a chance at these items, and the winner can use it, or sell it.

pre 0 Report post Posted July 8, 2017 At level 44 shouldn't you be 2hand because there's zero hit% gear? So you wouldn't utilize this flurry axe until the mid 50s when you can start running 60 dungeons and get hit% gear anyway? This seems like a super dick situation but I can see why the priest wanted his greed roll to be counted. You need to be clear before the start of the run on BoE rules (either all need or need before greed) or even guild runs will explode when you don't let a pug roll

Dual-wielding is NOT ALLOWED until the mid 50s
Oakenlix 79 Report post Posted July 8, 2017 As a veteran of BoE-ninja-thread-discussions, when I see another thread like this... sigh, just another dude being upset about losing a roll. Yes, needing on a BoE to sell it is okay, and needing on a BoP to vendor it is not okay. Probably the easiest way to show that you're wrong is this: what if that priest had a warrior main of similar level? BoEs can be freely exchanged, so are you gonna argue one warrior needs this axe more than another one, just because the latter happened to play from his other character at the moment?
