Oakenlix 79 Report post Posted June 5, 2017 Referring to this thread: https://forum.elysium-project.org/topic/48034-after-3-appeal-declined-anathema-horde-mage-laiy/ I just find it pretty hilarious how this guy lied from the very beginning, especially if you read some of his quotes. Here he is sounding honest and convincing: Quote I am not satisfied with the result because I know what I did and did not Quote It could be a relief if I drop this game and stop fighting my wife for the 4 hours evening raid hours Quote I would not make all these fuss if I really did what I am accused Quote Just like I posted, I thank the effort of the GM team, but I know what I did and what I did not And then... Quote To be honest, I am not even the guy himself, Laiy is my closest friend Hahahaha. What's the moral of the story? Well, for me it is - no matter how convincing and honest a person sounds, if GMs checked him twice after he got banned and still refuse to unban, he's most likely a lying piece of shit. Threads like that only spread misinformation and fears about GMs supposedly randomly banning good honest people, but in fact it turns out to be bullshit so far.
Mahtan 15 Report post Posted June 5, 2017 It should be said though, that the GMs reacted very calm and sober. So the whole story should show us, that they take all of us seriously. Even the "lying pieces of shit" ;)
Hurricane2 2 Report post Posted June 5, 2017 You should add the final post from the gm.

I don't know him. 2 hours ago, Hurricane2 said: You should add the final post from the gm. I thought a link to the original thread would be enough. 4 hours ago, Mahtan said: It should be said though, that the GMs reacted very calm and sober. As a GM, I'd imagine, If you know someone's guilty (and you should if you have banned him already), you have very little motivation to actually have any kind of conversation with this person when he says he's guilty. They probably just checked all this data to make sure they didn't make any mistake, no matter how unlikely it was.
Hudson 16 Report post Posted June 6, 2017 Please don't make threads referencing locked threads. And yes, the takeaway from the thousands of denied ban appeals that we have dealt with is that people lie.
