Proc scaling

Theloras seems to be the resident expert, so this is somewhat directed at him. Do you happen to know if any procs other than lifestealing or Kalimdor's Revenge, like the frost and shadow oils scale with spell power?

As a side, I've read a lot of the theory craft behind yours and Saphael's spell dmg ret pally build, but I can't see how 2h scaling isn't superior w/ weapons that have lifestealing procs.

the life drains are currently bugged and only scaling at 43% but will soon be fixed to scale at 100%

I have not tested shadow or frost oils however

No, the coefficient is 9.2% x weapon speed for 1h and 10.8% x weapon speed for 2h

Is the proc rate good? Someone here (http://rogerkarlsson.com/blogs/wow/lifestealing/) said that it should be :

Chance on hit (%) = weapon speed * 7.87          (average)

@Theloras can you give us your results on the proc rate?

that's for the SEAL - Judgement of Righteousness scales at 50%

Neretzek is quite good for SoR Reck spec - I usually get 1 proc per bomb and when it gets fixed to scale at 100% of spell dmg it will hit for 500-600 shadow dmg in my gear and crit for 800-900 plus heal me for the same amount :)

What's your dps like w/ Neretzek? I imagine that 2h ret with spell scaling proc would be strong dps, better than hunter at least.

smiter and i will compare it against traditional SoC ret once life drains are fixed to scale at 100% of spell dmg and post results then

here on elysium yes you do - whether thats blizzlike or not I cant say for certain seeing as most of the points listed in the blue post have been found to be incorrect:

So, when you re reck spec, you should never switch to shield+1H or your reckbomb will be very low.... Mmh the spec loses so much with that...

But you'd only want to use a shield vs rogues or warriors, both of which will get owned no matter if you use a 1H or 2H weapon.
