Always night time in North America

Recommended Posts

So i'm aware that the server time isn't NA, it's France or Russia I forgot which one.

But it really bothers me that every time I log on it's 12:00 server time, and it's night time every single day.

Might be a dumb question: Is there a way to change the skybox so it appears as day time during 1:00 AM server time? It's just so annoying that it's hard to see because the server is always night time when I log on.

(P.S, Is messing with the skybox against ToS?)

If anyone doesn't understand: I'm asking if you can go into the game files to change the sky from night to day because the server time is not in North America.

Unfortunately this is not possible and changing game files will most likely result in a ban by our anti cheat or Gamemasters.

You get used to it after a while. Look on the bright side, you can fish nightfins during the day, as the game will insist that it's night time. Nightfins=money. Sunscales=worthless.

There's no solution unless they make the game change based on client region, which is possible, but it's a whole lot of work for a whole lot of nothing in return. We still don't have a working portal inside AQ 40. My Drain Soul still isn't 36y. For fucks sake, there's still a winterspring owl in silithus. This thing has been here since day 1 from Nost. He's famous, and everyone on the server knows him. They should just give the thing a unique name at this point if they're not going to remove him. I'd rename it to "The Lost Owl".

The Winterspring Owl in Silithus is an Easter Egg by the Blizz developers. The working portal inside AQ40 comes with patch 1.11.

Do you have a source for that?
