Undertanker 88 Report post Posted August 9, 2017 Can the team please remove the restriction of procs improperly implemented on all Chance on Hit enchants/items? Currently a proc can not occur if the Spell ID of the proc to be and the cause of the proc are the same. This is incorrect. It should ONLY be implemented on Thunderfury - 12:37-12:38 of second video linked. - this can no longer occur. Enchants such as Fiery Weapon/Lifestealing, or DMC: Maelstrom should be able to proc off of itself. 1:03 Mark, Fiery Weapon Procs Fiery Weapon. Applying a DEBUFF (non-direct Damage) should also allow for proccing of abilities: A manual restriction was added to Thunderfury ONLY to prevent this from occurring. Application of debuffs that are not direct damage from other sources should still proc chance on hit items: ie Sunder Armor / Applying Nightfall. Sunder Armor Proccing Main Hand Abilities: 0:58 - 0:59, and 7:32 Shield Slam SHOULD PROC WEAPON ABILITIES - at 6:16 mark of the video: Shield slam hits for 282 - THIS SHIELD SLAM PROCS THUNDERFURY. But OMG ....... Yeah I know....... it's almost like it was working before on this server and then people broke it by making it not do so..... Shield Bash SHOULD PROC WEAPON ABILITIES - AT 8:40 mark of the video: Target is hit with a regular hit, procs TF, target is then shield Bashed and guess what, procs Thunderfury. (but your weapon didn't do damage.......) Shield Spikes Proc Chance on Hit Procs - 7:56 Mark. (just like how Shadowguard procs Blackout). Execute procs main hand abilities: 8:43 mark. (fixed already IIRC) Thorium Shield Spike (and other spikes) should be based off of Spell resistance, and not Armor - 8:03 (12 resisted). When the shield spike is not resisted it hits throughout the video for a minimum of 18 damage, and max 27 damage (20 damage - 30 damage range) while in defensive stance (best seen starting at 9:15 mark). Armor is not in consideration, only NR of the target. So spells can proc chance on hit abilities that are attached to a MH. As the spike is spell damage and not physical. Hand of Justice can proc main hand abilities - 0:19 Mark. Whirl Wind (doesn't require a MH weapon can proc Main Hand Abilities - 0:23 Mark. WindFury Totem can proc main hand abilities - 0:42 Mark. Vulnerability should affect white hit damage (see video above throughout the fight). This was added to combat logs in 1.6, and no patch notes take away such vulnerabilities. See below as well for evidence of at the 6:10 mark vs a R14 geared warrior in Berserker stance. TF does 337, not the 330 expected from the increased 10% damage taken. Also two videos above, (Brd 2man) white hit vulnability. This also provides evidence that +elemental damage gear (Kazzak neck, cc ring) should hit the target with no considerations to armor, only resist, increasing their vales. Chance on Hit Procs can occur when apply Stuns and other melee type debuffs - 6:10 Mark. 10:51 Mark Cheap shot procs Thunderfury, he auto attacks and another Thunderfury proc. This would also apply to Sunder Armor / Rend / Concussive Blow / Gouge / HoJ ect. Please give all chance on hit items the damage they deserve. More research to come, however ran out of time for now. Edit, I learned today that Nightfall doesn't increase thunderclap, a Nature Resist rolled ability. I do not believe DMC Maelstrom does either, haven't seen a high roll yet to exceed 300
Imbaslap 14 Report post Posted August 10, 2017 Fiery weapon didnt proc Fiery weapon.. you're mis-interpreting the combat log. he has a DTC which procs Fatal Wound. he opened on the mob and had a white melee hit and a fatal wound hit. both of those procced their own fiery enchant hit. Fatal wound Spell ID#21140 is what procced it. it also has DamageClass = 2 (SPELL_DAMAGE_CLASS_MELEE) under it (same as sinister strike) which would explain why fiery weapon procced as it "thought" fatal wound was a melee spell. same case goes for Vis'kag as well. i COULD be wrong about this, but i'm sure a Developer would know more on why certain melee spells procced weapon enchants/spells attached to the weapon than I could. but if anyone remembers the Retail WoW DTC bug where fatal wound could proc off itself and WF amplified the proc amount? probably similar case as above. the rest of the videos are all early wow patches which are irrelevant today.(except akrios one) the 1st TF video was 1.6 when TF and WF could basically proc themselves over and over again. this was fixed in later wow patches due to game balance reasoning. the akrios video shows him getting 2 procs (1 with MH hit which was then cluttered by TF proc, followed by the OH hit. the floating combat text doesnt show the actions of damage in order, especially the blizzard's version where if you get multiple hits at once, it gets cluttered and you need a combat log to determine what really occurred.) it also could be from what i mentioned above with fatal wound as those abilities are considered damage class = 2. (not 100% sure if that's even the right theory as that's the only thing i notice in common). you would need to find more about similar abilities forcing procs from main hand enchants/procs attached to the weapon and apply your theory there if there is a certain pattern involved. BRD2man video is false. he has a FRD + ungoro crystal thorns buff. not sure where you're getting this nature damage from shield spike idea from and it proccing stuff. he is still attacking a target while blocking (proccing FRD) and casting sunder. the timeline of this video also was before the FRD change in the patch notes to stop it from proccing other things. (forgot the patch note but im sure you can find it in 5mins on google or something, i could be wrong though.) http://wowwiki.wikia.com/wiki/Patch_1.9.0 "The Force Reactive Disk's and Cloak of Fire's effects will no longer gain a benefit from effects that increase spell damage." he is also using a flask of Supreme power in the video with greater arcane elixir. this was fixed in a later patch and the damage values you see are old. the thorium shield spike spell (for the record, all of the shield spikes even) dont even classify as any particular spell school other than SpellSchool = 0 (SPELL_SCHOOL_NORMAL). not sure why you would see a resist with that spell to begin with.. also, a Developer would have a better understanding of the game mechanics and spell behaviors the most here. ##ofcourse inb4 thread lock.## direct these concerns to the bug tracker and provide better research/interpretation of the game mechanics you think are bugged/inaccurate. posting this on the forum doesnt really do anything except show your lack of game knowledge/interpretation of game mechanics with an entitled attitude of "fix this now because im loud". also, download QT Spellwork as a tip to learn more about the game before making more "rant" posts on here, spreading misinformation.
Undertanker 88 Report post Posted August 10, 2017 @Imbaslapi never mentioned spell power stacking on force disk in my post. I am aware it used to scale, and was taken away on this server as well, as I used to use hero charm with it in AoE pulls. So the text Thorium Shield Spike doing damage then proccing TF is me being loud? The fact it shouldn't be rolled into armor reductions is just a 1.6 thing? Or is it proof that procs should be able to proc off themselves? I State in OP that TF is the only ability that shouldn't. If an ability causes a proc, that proc is put directly after the ability in the combat log. The rogues cheap shot does proc TF, and only gets 1 auto off, MH and OH are intentionally delayed by off set of time they didn't happen at the same time with this imaginary SCT moment, it's 1 auto after a cheap shot, then facing away from warrior preventing the OH from hitting. 1 auto, 1 stun generated two TF proc. Bug tracker isn't used, and hasn't been so why do I need to make a post there? Shield slam and shield bash proc abilities. These were working and Devs broke it in purpose because they didn't think it did (best QA approach ever, just guessing), ignoring the community, and here is proof of it. Just because some of the videos are from 1.6 doesn't mean it is not accurate. We know what things were taken out because patch notes tell us, scaling if SP, and TF proccing itself.
levran 146 Report post Posted August 11, 2017 Ok. i want proc WF from WF, fiery, and all game things that have any procs. Proc WF from thorns damage its my dream, good luck Underthreadstarter ) I can noticed that in BC, druid spell Omen of Clarity, have been triggered by raid buff with about 100% chance, instead of triggering by melee attack only. Maybe WF also will proc from chain lightning -)
Undertanker 88 Report post Posted September 7, 2017 Bump for shield slam, shield bash. Bring it back. Inb4 a referral to Github, there was a tracker on it and an individual didn't "thing" it should be like that, so they broke it.
Guest Report post Posted September 7, 2017 So? Raise the issue on Github, if it's "fixed" incorrectly it needs to be raised and pushed until it's done correctly.

They removed Judgement stacking denying the Evidence in purpose either, ignoring the proof and community. You are referring to Imbaslap which is the guy behind the scene of such nerfs together with his Crestfall team. As long the Crestfall train is here, you will always witness Ignorance, denial and modified unblizzlike features in this Project. /Kind regards Killerduki
