Weapon Choice Dps/Skill

Hey All,

 

Up until recently i have been running Deathbringer/Brut Blade, As of last night i received a Vis'kag. I am wondering what is going to produce the most damage Choices are below,

 

Also with mentioning I am a Human with edge-masters.

 

----Deathbringer MH/ Vis OH

-VS

----Vis MH/ Brut OH

 

DB wep speed 2.9 (56.4 dps) 

Viskag 2.6 (55.2 dps) 

Brut Blade 2.5 (51.6 dps ) - 1 Crit - 9 Agi/9str

 

I am told that i should run Vis MH/brut OH but i wanted to ask for a second opinion due to the loss in damage from the lowspeed DB.

I'd say stick to swords.

You're not a rogue to benefit from high white damage, since your only ability that uses weapon damage is like whirlwind and overpower(first is shitty and with CD, second isn't reliable as well). The benefits you're getting from +5 wep skill is much greater than 1,2 dps difference between axe and viskag, even from 107 to 112 weapon skill mastery.

It's not even close as human. Viskag for warriors is incredible due to the proc generating rage, its on par with CTS due to the proc. DB only wins if you are an orc.

The question was never not to use Vis'kag it was mainly what to use along with it. Appreciate the advice though good sir!

Speaking about that, from the perspective of warrior in pre raid bis gear, to which 1% crit equal ~23 ap(white damage):

Brutality Blade nets around +52,2 AP from stats, which you can translate into overall increase of DPS for autoattacks by 6,1 dps(with dual wield specialization talent).
Comparing to the Deathbringer in offhand, which has 4,8 dps more(3 dps after offhand penalty), it seems like Brutality Blade is far superior without even mentioning human racial. Although proc can be evaluated too, and the fact that there's possibility that you'll have enough crit(right to cap) even without stats from Brutality Blade. In the last case scenario it seems like Deathbringer could be used in offhand... if not human racial.

Seems like humans loosing too much fun because of their racials. ;)

As a human, Viskag+Brutality blade, no question about it.

for basic attacks brutality wins  with less than 1 dps. It mostly depends if you get more dps from the death bringer proc or from the stat buff from brutality
