Just starting and can't decide what to play

I'm mostly interested in PVE content.
Edit: To avoid getting an Alliance/Shaman or Horde/Paladin i will pick whatever class wins and then proceed to choose the race that can be that class with the most votes. For example, if Druid wins i will pick whoever has more votes between Night Elf and Tauren.

I voted HU Rogue, but thats personal preference. But you love PVE, and alliance or horde can always use more Druids/Pally/Shammys.. ;D <3.  Druids youll get super geared fast as well!! At least once you get to 60!! GOOD LUCK , also herb profession is a great gold maker and probably the best in vanilla imho.

If you think people votes are based on what's most needed, you are very mistaken. People vote randomly at best, and if you ask them to choose a class for you instead of asking what roles do classes perform and what their differences are so that you could decide for yourself, then I guesd you deserve to be an undead rogue.

Just starting on Elysium. Been playing wow for 12 years. I'm pretty sure i know what roles classes perform. I just really want to play everything and can't decide for one class. Also nothing wrong with UD Rogue except that it's overplayed. If it wins, which seems likely atm, I'm sure I'll enjoy it.

Use this. The least played classes are the ones you should roll to get EZ raid invites. Note that the least played classes (druid, shaman, paladin) are all healers and arent taken often in their DPS roles.

You want the real answer - play a tank, any kind of tank. Desperately needed. Every time I see "dps warrior" I want to vomit.
