Nighthaven PvP — Timeline

Dear players,

The time has come to release our timeline for our fresh and fast progressive realm.. Nighthaven PvP!

As we stated previously, this will be the fresh server in which you will be able to progress through all patches within a year (give or take a month).

What are the patches?

• 1.3 — Delve into the ruins of Dire Maul and take down giant ogres or face off with two new world bosses.
• 1.4 — The "golden age" of World PvP, fueled by the new Honor System. See you in Hillsbrad Foothills!
• 1.5 — Steal some flags and rise the ranks in the long-awaited Warsong Gulch and Alterac Valley.
• 1.6 — Nefarian arrives! Take him down for tempting rewards or discover the mysteries of Darkmoon Faire.
• 1.7 — Uncover the ancient city of Zul'Gurub with 20 adventurers and fight for control of Arathi Basin.
• 1.8 — Four corrupted dragons from the Emerald Dream have been sighted, challenge them if you dare!
• 1.9 — The Gates have opened! Delve into 20-40 man raids and unlock new rewards of epic proportions.
• 1.10 — Upgrade your Rare-quality Dungeon set to prepare yourself for all-new Dungeon boss encounters.
• 1.11 — Horrors have been unleashed on Azeroth, gather in the Plaguelands and take down this new threat!
• 1.12 — Face off against players across realms and head to Silithus & Plaguelands for World PvP objectives.

So, below is the timeline. This will also be placed on our website so it will be viewable by all. Let us know what you think!

From what I know, Nighthaven will stay patch 1.12.1. If you want to play TBC you can do a one-time transfer of your character to the new TBC realm.

Nighthaven is a fast progression realm, meaning it will evolve to TBC expansion eventually.

How can you make poll like that when your population is growing and peaople are not invested in your server? Isn't it smarter to make this desicisions abit later when your player base is more stable?

Right now i'm torn by this. Not sure shuld i continue playing or not.

In their Q&A on the 15th. They said that it's going to be separate realms. The fast progression is of Vanilla itself. Once TBC server is released, you will have a choice to transfer over as whatever level and be in TBC with that character.

 

I don't see in this post where you see "Will be changing to TBC after the progression of Vanilla is finished."

Yeah but nobody wanted the fast progression.  It's baffling why they continued with it.

What I suspect is that the decision has to do with the recent BIG announcement from Blizzard and that they are anticipating the release of  "Official Legacy Servers" within a years time and that that's where everyone's going to be playing and that the Privet server scene will take a HUGE hit ,and that they may actually be motivated, provided of course Blizzard does it right, to just shut down (of course I think Blizz will screw it all up, and not give us Vanilla...but Vanilla with sprinkles)

Your update isn't loading for me and I'm *very* confident it's going to take Blizz at least two years before we get a release date and probably a year after that.

yeah, I don't understand why my Update isn't loading for me either (Crogge get on it!) maybe I should just delete it.

I'm no expert in this type of stuff, but 2 years? ya really think? Wow! I was anticipating more like a year tops, I just don't understand why they would announce something that no one was even expecting them to announce so many years off before its even close to being released, even though I would love to see Blizzard give the 'old classic quote they used to give to people whenever they got tired of being asked about a game release date..."it'll be ready when it's ready" :)
