Timeline progression is too fast!

Recommended Posts

Full T1 or T2 or any tier players will be extremely rare. %99,9 of people will move into the next raids before they can complete a set which is really demotivating.

We really enjoy watching you struggle, for our own entertainment purposes we have decided... According to this poll, we can announce that patch 1.5 will be delayed by a month.

I am joking. On a serious note: 621 votes aren't enough yet. We're watching the poll and might consider to slow down the timeline. More time is needed.

So I don't know much about the other server (think its stratholme?) but Night Haven was marketed as a fast progression server. Maybe make the other server slow progression? (Idk if it is) and make a transfer tool?

I think this progression for TBC is reasonable.

+1 for fast.

Well after the poll has been there for nearly 3 months now, I seriously doubt anyone can expect the results to be reverted.

1) It's a poll, it's supposed to provide an insight to the general thoughts, not to poll each and every active player (that's never gonna happen anyway).

2) The most voted option has nearly twice the votes of the second one and it's been like this since the beginning, it's not like they're few .1%s apart... so the final picture is clear and not gonna change, regardless of how much more time you're gonna give it.

3) The longer you stick to the original timeline, the more you're disregarding THAT result.

Stratholme was very short lived, if memory serves me well it didn't last longer than a month back in November (it was shut down in the early days of December 2017). Nighthaven is the only available realm from this project.

^ What he said.  Barely anybody who plays on this server actively visits the forums or knows this poll exists.  The vast majority of the player base wants a slow progression.  It's time to act on that.

Judging by today's announcement, it would seem this poll and the will of the majority of players here are going to be disregarded by the admins, and Nighthaven will remain a fast-paced progression realm. Oh well.

Fast progression server means just that! You signed up with the details. If you cannot keep up then wait for TBC and they might slow it down. If you do not have much time to play then you should not even be concerned with the timeline. It is redundant for a player with limited hours to be throwing a fit on a server with a pre-determined speed that he is unable to maintain or anyone is for that matter a pace. You make yourselves look stupid. It is like going to a vegan shop and asking for a rare steak to dine in.

+1 for fast.

Far less than 1 year means too fast. Please make it Normal/Blizzlike progression.

  • People come to fresh server for a reason: to stay on top of the new content.
  • To farm raids and collect tiers before the next raid.
  • Regular people can't hit 60 faster than 3-6 months.
  • BWL and Zul'Gurub will be released before most people couldn't complete Molten Core, or even hit lvl 60.
  • Most players are working class people. We work for 9-10 hours a day 5 days a week. Only %5-10 of the players have the free time "fast-paced" progression requires.
  • We can't powerlevel to 60 or clear raids fast enough.
  • Before we could enjoy our 60s, you'll hit us with TBC, shutting vanilla fun and making our raiding/pvping efforts obsolete.

It is too funny that you would petition regular speed in a fast progression server. TOO FUNNY!!!

+1 but the other problem is that vanilla content has became too easy with actual knowledge and add on, so big guilds can clear and farm all new raid very fast. The situation will become impossible when ~200 players will be full t2 when majority are just hitting 60 or starting raid. So these players will slowly ruin pvp at 60 because unbalance or making twink and ruin pvp at 10-59 and the server will die. In conclusion fast progression = fast death

The solution is to increase difficulty, slow down progression and prevent twinking
