The merging of two servers, what a blast!

Recommended Posts

So Elysium players we will get to know each other weeks and months after this hybrid community server comes up. So whats the PVP community like and what are your pings like for any NA players?

Aside from that I hope you all look forward to this as much as the Nost people are.  I know we're crashing your server with an influx of plebs, please please forgive us.

i'm certain that 99.9% of people that use the term 'pleb' have absolutely no idea what context it should be used in.

Indeed the r14 train will start again. Fortunately I finished my run.  The new alliance and horde will have a blast.  From what I recall a ton of new alliance players were making a push.  Seems when Nost got to main stream a ton of alliance started to level.  I'm looking forward to see if all the alliance come back.

I personally hope to see full on mongoloid forum pvp again. That фекал was so funny.

Oh god, yes that will indeed happen.

Docholy, are you continuing with your character then? You gave us all your stuff already!

Yeah I'm starting back up with my old toon.  No one wanted to take it off my hands, so only a bit of gold is left. Got to start the gold grind over.

Elysium Ping was apparently most stable and i heard rumors it was quite descent for NA either (150 if i am not wrong).

Anyway Nostalrius said that they will use their Hardware etc , giving possibility that the server will use Nostalrius "Ping" as it used to. (Assumption).

There will be again "Stress Test" like they did back when Nostalrius opening was.

But wasn't Elysium hosted at same IP as Nost in France?

Yeah but Elysium had 1k peak pop while Nost had 15x that? As well as a constant 8k pop all day. Elysium was probably very nice before our - soon - arrival.

Yeah I ran on Elysium just temporarily to check the lag and I'm east coast USA, had about 130ms during the day, so not too bad

If someone had already watching World of Warcraft Documentary , you will find out that "Lag" is not only where the server is located , but also if your server have strength to handle high population.

Currently they will use Nostalrius Hardware which mean the Latency will be exactly the same as Nostalrius was before.

(i heard rumors that might have server cap, but this is only assumption and rumors).

Elysium is hosted in the same country with the same ISP as Nost was. This means the ping and DDOS protection should more or less be the same. It's going to come down to the server hardware and whether or not they can handle the playerload.
