Leveling 2 characters at different times or do you mean dual-clienting both at once? Elysium has rules against running more than 1 character per zone outside of cities.

 Grouping up to kill a named mob is a must, but grouping up to for the loot 8 bear asses quests is silly since usually only loot 1 item per mob.

My grandmother used to say "Never hunt for bear asses alone." I still take those words to heart.

You could just start by running around in the world and pickup flight paths, you should be able to get a few levels from doing that, and then return to a low level zone. You may save time overall by doing this. It will be a lot of corpse running though.

Not quite, there's many different approaches to leveling. Nothing forces you to follow the herd into the chaos.
