[ADDON] LunaUnitFrames

Recommended Posts

The lagging bars are being worked on.

Viken: You can try and edit one of the existing ones. If you are satisfied with it you can send it to me and I will add it.

Duality: /lunamo "spellname" is the command that will cast on the unit the mouse is over.

As for the other part... I don't think it's possible since the frames don't support config via command line yet.

Forexal: As in what? Editing existing textures?

Okay, thanks for the feedback, Rhena.

As for the 'config via command' I'll see if I can work around it somehow.
Maybe a solution would be to duplicate profiles and adjust the raid frames per profile - then just switch between profiles according to raid-size. I'll give you feedback after I've experimented with this for a bit.

That would actually be a really good solution. Why did i not come up with this.... Seems even i can't keep track of all features anymore.

Those were the days! When the coding was shitty and the options few. :icecream:

From what i've seen somebody might still be out there using that. :wacko:

speaking of features :) here a suggestion:

you added a nice feature to config the x and y position but it would be better if you could add a dropdown to choose a frame as anchor ->

for example anchor the targetoftarget frame to the targetframe instead UIParent(as it is now) :)

or anchor on UIParent Center instead the upper left corner, that would allow a perfect symmetric configuration :)

Yeah anchoring frames together.. i'll do that when i feel the need for some recursion in my life. ;)

And just anchoring to center would make your own use case easier and is not a general improvement.

As in adding more varied types of bar textures, which you already have made the option to change in the in game addon settings.

Here is an example <-- only an example, add it if you want.

I just can't figure out how to get the new bar textures to work in the addon. Too many lua files to go through. It would be great if you could provide me with an inbox on how to add them so I could create (and test) new textures and send them all to you, if you want  :)

As for testing them: Just replace the existing ones in the /media/textures/bar folder.

But if i remember correctly the dropdown menu has a maximum of entries it can take. So i might be already at the limit of bar textures i can add. Also i don't want to overgrow the size of the addon by adding too many textures...

Perhaps I didn't see it, but is there an option to re-position debuffs say to the bottom or top right while keeping them inside the raid frame? First time updating in a long while. Thanks!

If you want additional frames, borders, textures and backgrounds I suggest using Discord Art as a backdrop or overlay. There is no need to make this a part of Luna as only a minor percentage of the users are concered with such features.

Is there anyway i can make the ToToT frame not ToToT and instead just another playerUF? Would that be something i could do by poking about in the lua?

Suggestion:

Having aura borders to represent the type of debuff on the target frame, i.e

Magic -> blue aura border

Curses -> purple aura border

Poison -> green aura border

Disease -> %color aura border

Physical -> red aura border

I believe this is already implemented. I'm not at my computer so I can't check, but I think it's under general settings.

Buffalojack: I don't think i'll be bringing that back. That position is already taken by the hottracker now.

Viken: Thats already an option.

monteo: You seem to be using the master branch which has these errors from time to time. While the error has now been fixed the mp5/energy ticker might still be broken.

The releases should work fine however.

Hi i have a question. Whenever I try to click any member on raid frames, party frames, or my portrait, i am not able to target any of them. Is this a bug?

Thanks,

These are excellent frames. Thanks!

When running Healcomm i get:

Error:  bad argument #1 to `getn' (table expected, got nil)
AddOn: LunaUnitFrames
File: units.lua
Line: 456
Count: 2

When trying to open /luna menu i get:

Error:  attempt to index global `LunaOptionsFrame' (a nil value)
AddOn: LunaUnitFrames
File: LunaUnitFrames.lua
Line: 928
Count: 1

Tried disabling everything except Luna and Healcomm and the error remains.

Make sure you have no old settings in your wtf folder. Also use the latest release from the GitHub and not the master. Then it should work since it does for every one else.
