Nyx 0 Report post Posted November 26, 2016 19 PvP … someone love it, someone hate it... this thread is only for the first ones, or people with a neutral opinion. What is 19 pvp? When you play 19 pvp, you invest much time and effort in your low level character, to get the best items and the maximum out of your class, in this early level. Overall you usually farm the equip ONCE and dont need to replace it, so its perfect for people, who have less time in some months, for example study etc. When you raid on max lvl, 2months active, 2months break... yea... you know what this means.^^ Here you wont have the problem. Moreover, you will usually still need a lvl 60 character to farm equip/gold for enchants etc. A nearly perfect character is a hell of work and gold, since you only need to equip once, the effort here really pays off. Gameplay Of course there are some battlegrounds, where you easy dominating, cause of your equip, cause of the effort you invest in the character, cause your character lvl 19 has 25 hours playtime and the other character lvl 19 only 5. Its exactly the same on lvl 60. When i farm equip with much time investment, i own worse equiped enemys too. But you still looking for challenges. So duells, or even bgs vs only other lvl 19 pvp twinks will be the most fun. Yes, you have only about 10abilitys+, but what is the problem here? On lvl 60 you have like 50 abilitys, but still use only 1-3 in raids/pve in 90% of the time. In league of legends you only have 4abilitys, but this game needs still a lot of skill on top level. Iam interested, what should i do? Casual start: Choose a race+class you like, level to 19 and try to get as much good equip as you can -> from dungeons, from auction house and quests. Try to put some enchants on your equip, every small improvement is worth is, since you wear your equip like forever. Join battleground and have fun. Advanced start: First of all, choose a class you want to level to level 60 (Hunter, or Warlocks are pretty simple), then start leveling. While you do this, you can create your lvl 19 character and start to farm items (it would be the best, when you make much theoriecrafting. The amount of experience you can gather, before you reach level 20, is limited, so be carefull! If you need something from wailing caverns, for example, its mostly better to go there with a highlevel character and kill only the bosses you need, less experience, more runs/dropluck. For this you have your „alt“ on lvl 40+ at this time, you will help someone and they will help you. If you cant find someone, maybe someone will help you for a bit of gold, you have farmed with your lvl 40 character. Anyway, you will still need a lot of it, special for enchants/very rar items like shadowfang, so its never to early to start farming gold/active ah selling. You see, you will need a highlevel char, to invest everything you have in 1 small piece of the cake, to make this one perfect. )
Nyx 0 Report post Posted November 26, 2016 Theoriecrafting? Keep in mind, that many things have changed in wow, even in vanilla. Some quests are available at lvl 45, on another patch with lvl 29 (just example). Item stats change, new items are available etc. So many "bis equip" lists in the internet are NOT for this server! For Vanilla in early patches i had my best experience with http://db.vanillagaming.org/ and a couple of other internet sides. Example for cloth chest: http://db.vanillagaming.org/?items=4.1.5&filter=minrl=10;maxrl=19;#0-2+1 Another good help is the addon "atlas". Guilds: Of course you can just soloplay as a lonerider and with much effort in your character you will be doing well too, but going with premates in battlegrounds (someone heals you), or exploring the world together (kill some lvl 20-25 guys from the other faction) is mostly more fun in a small group. Moreover bg groups, more tactical play, help each other with items/enchants/theoriecrafting, or doing some duells, etc, a guild have much to offer. Post here: If you have a 19pvp focused guild, planing to create one, or looking for one.If you had some awesome pvp moments, screenshots, want to share some theoriecrafting, have questions about it, questions about classes etc, just everything what have to do with 19 pvp.
Mpire 0 Report post Posted November 26, 2016 I plan on rolling mage when the fresh start is up, torn between undead/horde gnome/alliance. Does anyone have any suggestions for the early part of 10-19 and being so mana thirsty? Which zones would you suggest are the easiest for lowbie mages?
gotmilk0112 10 Report post Posted November 27, 2016 your character lvl 19 has 25 hours playtime and the other character lvl 19 only 5 Dafuq vanilla are you playing where you can get to level 19 in 5 hours?
Nyx 0 Report post Posted November 27, 2016 My bad, thought the first levels are going a bit faster, but you right. 1-19 take atleast 10hours (if you know what you doing), for most people about 12-15 i guess. When you go for dungeons/searching groups, go for special quests, instead doing the quest in your location, or sitting in the capital for hours, infront of the ah (over a couple of days of course), its selfspeaking that it takes nearly double the time. And you havent seen a bg from inside still. Moreover a bit informations about leveling, since this thread is 10-19: (All data based on Joana-powerleveling guide. So starting in other locations, choose other class/race, having mass people doing questlines there, be a beginner, etc. of course slows the speed a bit.) lvl - - - - - very fast time 1-6 00.30 hours 6-13 04.00 hours 13-15 02.00 hours 15-19 04.00 hours So overall 10-12hours from 1-19 is pretty good, less then 10hours is pretty damn good. The average player will need about 15hours, exp farming in the entire time (no dungeons, no professions, no capital sitting, etc).
tobach 0 Report post Posted November 28, 2016 I had a 19 rogue on Nostalrius, the worst part was finding a proper wardrobe addon to change weapons quickly- so that I could change weapons after I did an ambush. Are there a better way to do that.. like with a macro or smth?
Aslan 0 Report post Posted November 30, 2016 Download weaponquickswap and check the readme on how to do the macros. Then just put the weapons youd like to have to ambush in a macro with your ambush and the same for the other abilities.

Ironsides 35 Report post Posted December 10, 2016 Why not twink at a bracket that isn't completely brainless? Like 49?
HDwarrior 20 Report post Posted December 10, 2016 19 lvl? Here is a list of best to worst: Rogue-Hunter-Warrior-Paladin&Shaman-Druid-Priest-Mage-Warlock. You ask why? It's simple: damage. Rogue one class, who have dual (main+off-hand). Hunter more stronger those spellcasters. Mage, warlock in 19 lvl have weak spells againist 900~1000 hp players. But doesn't mean y not should pick weak classes, mage can sheep or slow movements, warlock can fear. Priest, paladin&shaman can support damage or heal in depends situation.
Aslan 0 Report post Posted December 10, 2016 (edited) Or you be a priest with infinite armor and hp and http://db.vanillagaming.org/?item=7001 and you faceroll wand everything down. Even if you cant kill something, it certainly cant kill you. Unless "it" is 3 twink hunters/rogues, then you might have to use a swiftness potion. Why not twink at a bracket that isn't completely brainless? Like 49? By that logic, lvl 60 pvp would be the best... Oh wait, it is the best . I guess some people like more simplicity. Exgf 0 Report post Posted December 11, 2016 19 lvl? Here is a list of best to worst: Rogue-Hunter-Warrior-Paladin&Shaman-Druid-Priest-Mage-Warlock. Ok here we go brother. Priest - insane heals, dispel (both offensive and defensive), fear bomb, shield etc, hands down the best healer at this bracket. Mage - you go frost and you have biggest overall CC you can get in this bracket, and you can constantly sheep lets say a healer so ye.. dmg is average. Warlock - constant fear on 1 target, and the dmg from dots really is decent when you go with shadow dmg gear. Druid - fc druid, you don`t want to be against good fc druid. Rogue - insane dmg but easy to peal. Hunter - insane dmg, insane pet dmg, wing clip easely best dmg class at 19s. Shaman - who cares about shaman, resto would be somewhat ok, enh isnt that horrible as well. Warrior - harmstring and good dmg. Paladin - BoF, a lot of hp, good FCs and support. Every class has their benefits, like for real. Rogues + hunters dont mean auto win, they sure help ofc, but I would always pick different classes in a competitive prem vs prem action, especially priests, warlocks and mages.

tobach 0 Report post Posted December 15, 2016 Download weaponquickswap and check the readme on how to do the macros. Then just put the weapons youd like to have to ambush in a macro with your ambush and the same for the other abilities. I tried this with Shadowfang and Assassin's Blade. When I tested it, it worked as intended. But as soon as I was in combat, it wouldn't re-equip Shadowfang, it would only swap Assassin't blade from mainhand to offhand. Retested multiple times with the same result. This is my macro: /script WeaponSwap("Assassin's Blade", "","Shadowfang", "Assassin's Blade");
Aslan 0 Report post Posted December 15, 2016 (edited) /script WeaponSwap("Assassin's Blade", "","Shadowfang", "Assassin's Blade"); /script WeaponSwap("Assassin's Blade", "", "Shadowfang", "Assassin's Blade"); I hope that one with the adjusted space bar usage works, if it doesnt, buy a random vendor offhand, I never tried using it without switching both weapons. Try out something along the lines /cast Sinister (shift+click the spell in your spellbook, while creating the macro, that will insert it) /script WeaponSwap("Shadowfang", "Assassin's Blade"); and /cast Ambush/Backstab /script WeaponSwap("Assassin's Blade", ""); You can replace your abilities with these macros and it will always auto-equip the appropriate weapons, so you dont need to worry about switching anything mid-combat. If the right weapons are already in place, for exemple if you spam backstabs, the addon wont constantly вау around with your weapons, it merely checks if you have the correct ones. vaenom 0 Report post Posted December 16, 2016 Use addon called itemrack to switch weapons in and out of stealth, does it automatically. Only issue I have with it is that sometimes when you are brought out of stealth by an enemy player attacking you and not from an ability it wont auto swap.
kott0n USA 3 Report post Posted December 16, 2016 I was almost done with a druid. Just needed to finish the 100hp librams. There is about 6 of us at this stage who had just got into playing the 19 bracket. Looking forward to some games.
Ellarria 6 Report post Posted December 20, 2016 (edited) I have a 19 druid fc that is almost unkillable. Druids aren't much to look at in terms of doing damage but they are excellent support. When I wasn't running flags I was rooting people, putting faerie fire on rogues, sleeping hunter pets (they are annoying af) and tossing out heals. Any warsong is going to suck if you are faced against a few twinks when you have zero on your side. I like games where there are like 4-5 on each side tossed in with a bunch of scrappers. Games that are too evenly matched are fun from time to time but I get bored carrying the flag in two-hour long matches. Yoga 3 Report post Posted December 20, 2016 I wouldn't say shamans are that useless i mean purge is still good skill at low level brackets yes you are mostly on support duty but it makes it more fun than have only rogues + hunters + priest and 1 mage every BG. And to the OP priest is the most OP healer in this bracket i actually tryied a shadow priest on 19 bracket which wasnt as good as holy but was still so fun to play and certainly competitive. I remember mindblast crits 150-200 dmg and with blackout talented you can get 3 sec stuns what are kind a insane in lvl 19 bracket. I agree that hunter's and rogues are the best burst / overall dps but the fun thing in 19 bracket is that every class with some spec can made really useful and hard to enemy team to work around. Warlock fears maybe work for horde better because most horde play UD.
