Can i use WOD models on this server?

Hi. I have 1 question, can i use WOD models here? This is "patch-5" file, that not changin game mechanics, and not gives me unfair advantages, so let me know

I asked before and they said no. Even tough its super easy to whitelist ONLY the updated models, which other servers have done. This will draw even more people to the project. I wish the team could reconsider, and have a chat with the makers of the mod in order to come to some kind of conclusion.

Not an argument, and it would be silly to have the attiude of not wanting to draw more potential people. As several projects have proved, population dwindle fast.

Why the hate? If some random dude wants to portray different character models on his individual screen, why would we others have to care? I wouldnt do it because I like the vanilla models, but if someone else wants it without affecting me... Who gives a фекал.

The argument have been that other people can exploit this, making use of patches to cheat. But as I've said several times, they can choose to whitelist this specific mod, and not allow others like some servers have. It's totally voluntarly to use it, so I don't really understand the hate either.

i don't see the problem with it, but i can see why GM's say no, it's a slipperly slope.. If i recall it has somthing to do with how hit boxes where and are?

You're asking them to try to whitelist a specific set of modded game files, which I honestly think is harder than you're making it sound. Not going to happen, and I agree with them, modding of game files for any reason should not be allowed.

It has been done with several other servers, and I have talked to the creator himself. His mod is getting more and more popular, so it's "easy" to distinguish his patches from other ones. Cheating by patch mods is not a problem on these servers.
