I just got myself suspended for 3 days (after a plea, it was suposed to be ban) for using the auto buy feature of Aux. I was told I'd get perma banned the next time I used auto buy.

hey i have this problem with ccwatch,

the dr bar often stays visible instead of vanishing after the fight. i have to /reload to fix this.

Please ignore I figured it out. When I install Clean Up it shows up in the addon menu. When I get in to the game. I get no indication that the addon is working. I do not get any option button when bags are opened. Bags are not sorted and appear no different than default blizzard bags. Your addon looks great and I'd love to use it, any help would be appreciated.

Can you be more specific about the circumstances when this happens?

edit: Changed something but not sure if it fixed it as it's never happened to me anyway.

Yes i will Test it more when im back Home friday or saturday. Is there maybe a way to turn off the dr bar completely?

i dont think the drs work on this Server at all

Longer for what? the timers might be wrong for individual spells of course. I think fear is a little different here from kronos where I originally tested. Sheep seems to work fine.

With fear I'm not sure if blizzlike would be the pve duration (20/10/5), heartbeat approximate duration (15/10/5) or some unique exception for fear only. Kronos and ccwatch currently use 15/10/5.

DO NOT move the Friends Frame (or the Mail Frame, or the Talents Frame, or any other frame that loads into the Info Panel Frame). Just move the Info Panel frames. Reset the position of any of the frames you have already moved that should instead load into the Info Panel Frames (Mail, Talents, Friends, Spell Book, etc.).

Aux's comparison tooltips interfere with any other comparison tooltip addon (EquipCompare, EQCompare, SuperInspect). Usually it makes a second tooltip that overlays the other addon's comparison tooltip, but not perfectly. The toolips are off just off of one another enough to make them both unreadable.

It seems nearly impossible that this could happen with recent versions as they manually fill the tooltip. I don't see how another addon could detect the item like that. You're talking about the aux auction listing?

Since the auto-buy feature has been considered a big no-no by the dev team for the time being, would it please be possible to create a confirmation button for when Aux wants to autobuy something? Maybe don't show item info/price to retain as much of the original autobuy feature's quickness and make the button clickable by a macro command that we can spam.

thx. however I need to have it like that to be able to see more than 2 windows at same time, if u know what i mean (i dont want them to close when I open another one that goes in the same "place"

I will not cater to plainly non blizzlike changes but I've added a warning to the main post. Note that there's no way for them to know if you pressed a button or not anyway so the risk would be essentially the same. There's only one API function to do any sort of buying from the auction house which is "PlaceAuctionBid" and the only way they could know you're automating it afaik is by guessing from your pattern of usage (e.g., how quickly, how frequently, how regularly you use it)

Do you by any chance know what addon it was that i could have been using alongside Postal that added an Open Selected option to the bottom of the mailbox and a checkbox next to each mail? Was it an older version maybe and you since removed the feature?

It was an older version. I removed it at the same time I added the right click on icon to open mail feature.

Wouldn't use it for vanilla at this point and use it with care for TBC as it may still be quite buggy.

Hey shir, an idea that's just come to me to allow and make practical to implement localized versions: why not "centralizing" all text for buttons and tabs in a single .lua, separated from the rest, called "language.lua" or whatever? Pretty much like all addons that support translations do. That way any update would be safe to download and overwrite just what's needed, without messing up the lines with localized text (and localizations would also be extremely easier to do). I guess it shouldn't be too hard nor complex for you to do, but then again I'm not that much into coding to be 100% sure about its simplicity (or even actual feasibility).

That would be the best way to do localization, but even easier is to simply not localize :) Of course the difficulty in localizing is not the implementation but the actual translations. The reason I decided not to do it is because it's annoying if I have to track down 10 translators every time I wanna change some text.

Most of my addons don't have anything worth localizing anyway and postal is localized using localized strings for the default interface that are shipped with the client.

Even aux, which has the most text, is mostly just simple button labels.

Is there a way to search for items where the lowest Historical value for all auctions for that item is above 100%?

I tried using: "consumable/percent/150/and/not/percent/140" but that just returns the overpriced auctions between 140% and 150% where there are still auctions for the same items lower than that.
