I know I should have posted this on the same part of the forum that I found it on, but <3 general chat.

 

   Just wondering what constitutes as "organized killing for farming rank and/or honor"

 

   Does this mean that we are not allowed to focus on world PvP if we have 2 or more people in on it? Are we not allowed to queue with friends for BG's? How in the world can organized killing for PvP be detrimental? Why would GM's have to intervene if people are killing other people for PvP? Wouldn't it make more sense to let the other faction organize their own party to counter the original organized killing?

 

   It just sounds fishy. I could organize my own plan to farm rank and honor by myself. Does that mean I'll get in trouble?

I've killed around 88 ppl outdoors one day. Should I consider myself a criminal if I'm going to do the same way on Elysium since OWPvP is my main passion in WoW?

It says organized killing. It can't be organized if one party is not consenting to organize it.

Have you been to school? ''Organized'' has different adjectives meaning. You are talking about efficienty. The rules are talking about a structured organisation.

Have you been to school? Or did you even read the rules? The word 'organization' was never used, only 'organized.' The term 'organized' does not specifically regard more than one individual, let alone a group whatsoever. One can organize his plan of action for honor farming without another individual present.

 

Edit: I can't help but to point out that you asked me if I've been to school when, in the same post regarding said question, you severely lacked grammatical and spelling skills. . Fun times.

If you do it excessively I think it counts as griefing. Like someone else explained, it means you can't farm honor by trading kills with alliance/horde.

It means you can't do kill trades.

Organized killing has a stop gap measure built into it already. The more you kill the same player the less honor you get.  Aside from server rules this is built into the honor system. So beating a team many times has the same rule.

It specifically refers to kill trading cross faction.  Whether with one's own toons, or a collaboration of cross faction entities.  There are some rather insidious ways to do this.  For example:  People that make guilds on both factions, populate them, and sit in VOIP together to organize premades queuing agaisnt PUGS or against themselves over and over and over.  You can allow for very quick, consecutive wins in BGs this way and organze to jump out of less profitable queues.
