PvP and PvE realms launched at same time : )

Great news for me.  Instead of PvE being up to 8 weeks later from PvP launch.  I guess this is a good way to try to spread new pop around.  We'll be getting a lot more new folks on PvE than we would have otherwise.

 

We need some more people stepping up and declaring guild resurrections or new guild creations on PvE server.

Thank god, or Nost/Elysium team, they're launching the PvE realm early! Our community (PvE) might be the smallest here, but it's gonna be by far big enough and it's by far the least toxic - it's in our nature, we don't fight each other, but rather unite and play together. Battlegrounds and PvP flags still exist there, too. Great compromise.

Plus it's not progressed really far so creating a new char there is well worth it for all PvE enthusiasts.

You can't gank lowbies.

 

You can't jump people when they have low health.

 

You can't gang up on somebody whose got full health.

 

You have to have skill to beat people in PVP on PVE realms.

 

Really bad places for the average person on a PVP realm.

Yeah, it totally sucks. How am I supposed to get honor kills if I can't attack someone while they're fighting a mob already?? You can't attack people who are 9 levels lower than you either! Totally unfair bullshit, I want to be able to camp quest areas and 1shot people who have no chance of fighting back!

I did like some of the PvP battles on PvP realm, especially the full scale assaults.

 

What I didn't appreciate was, in the beginning I believe a 60 could still get honor from killing someone as low as a forty or maybe it a forty five.  and since horde had to wait forever in queues, they decided to instead just farm at the Fps for everyone that landed.  I mean, that skeleton carpet at Menenthil was kinda funny ha.  But honestly I think we had to have server restarts just to clear it.   : P

 

Even when they moved the honor up to 50 or higher, those guy didnt stop camping the Fp in Menethil.  I would stay there for hours too in shadomeld trying to gank the gankers.  I have to tell you, a couple of those guys (and you know who you are), had some real life personal issues.  Honestly they'd switch over to their Ally toons to whisper me some hardcore nonsense.  We're talking like real, clinical mental issues : )

 

Now the guys that ganked the hell out of everyone at Morgan's, those guys were alright.  I still hated 'em, but they weren't insane.  I think they found my feeble attempt to repel them hour after hour, day after day amusing at the least.

Unless they're going to let us transfer our Nost PVP characters to any of the PVEs; we're still locked in the same situation Nost left us in. Not starting over just to switch.
