 I'm not sure, but before merge with Nost, devs are russian witn one no rus dev. After merge +some Nost devs.

I don't think requesting people use the most commonly spoken language on the planet is really asking too much since it's the best way for everyone to communicate with each other. 

Like trying to run a group in retail with people from Ragnaros who don't speak English. Makes things rather difficult if you can't communicate. It isn't racist or a superiority complex by any means. Just wanting to be able to communicate efficiently.

Wrong. It's actually English taking over. Elysium was a Russian server but since Nostalrius is moving there, it is now English and since speaking English was a big rule on Nostalrius, it will now also be here, so no Russian language is allowed in public channels.

I completely agree, the forums here on elysium is riddled by russian language and it has to STOP!

I have said it befor, Elysium should DISTANCE them selves completely from the russian language and culture, and by that I mean that all Russian forum sections should be completely removed as this is a english speaking server! If they do not take these steps then I will never feel  the new nos server is a part of my old home as russians do not respect non-russian speaking players as a general conception. They always impose their language on others and when asked to comform to the english language, they simply ignore it and keep on going, with the occation "shut up cuka" or something similar.

just my thoughts on this:

1. they have plans already on building another site later after they have stable servers up running and so on (there is an official statement to this somewhere)

2. you're live in 21st century. You have google, you have an online dictionary, you have a keyboard if you don't know the meaning of a word

3. learn russian and win?
