Redthirst 1 Report post Posted December 12, 2016 All the drama and trolling aside, how big is the difference going to be between Fresh and Nost servers? Sticky post lists the patches, but it tells me nothing about average level of players and how many fully-geared players there are. Another thing I'm wonder is the overall experience on PvP Nost. I'm fine with some PvP, but how prevalent is it? How many high-level characters actively try to gank low level locations? Is corpse camping common? How active is world PvP and what are the main hotspots of it?

Sussemilch 0 Report post Posted December 12, 2016 Exactly what they want you to do do delay the inevitable death of Old Nost. Fresh is the only answer. I don't care what people want me to do. I do what I want to do. If it's also what they want me to do then we're in alignment, and everyone's happy. Except you. And I don't care about you.

Also keep in mind the fresh server will have issues just like old nost had issues (lag etc). Especially at launch. Likely what I'll be doing, but do plan on leveling at least one toon on each. I want to play ASAP on new realm, but I also want to enjoy that initial rush on the fresh one.

Zodish 1 Report post Posted December 13, 2016 While I am sure that the PVE people are a nice crowd, I would recommend not robbing yourself of the PVP realm experience, there is something to be said about fearing death lurking around every corner ^^ With that said, come join us on the old Nost server, the myth that you will "get left behind" - is just that, a myth.

And if so, Naxx will be farm already at the time. But seriously now, you are most likely correct with your statement.
Pmizz 0 Report post Posted December 13, 2016 (edited) I genuinely think the fresh server will be a turn off for a lot of people. They will get to lvl 3 and realize the amount of people in starting zoens isn't slowing down. They will then go back to their level 28 on Nost and consider how they can run any dungeon at any time without issue and probably just stay on nost happy with their 25 gold and 12 lvls from a mount. After a week or two they may go to the fresh realm but once they see Nost's pop is bigger they will likely stay Nost. It's as simple as this, there will be smarty pants gnomes and humans and dwarfs levling in darkshore.it will be that packed. Kronos 1 had a surge of players when Nost shut down, and the levling was insane, this is gonna be 100x worse. Edited December 13, 2016 by Pmizz

He will be the clown on any server that gets kicked out of any group after first few mob-groups.
