Will the Fresh Start Server have access to the original Epic mounts?

One of my most prized accomplishments in vanilla WoW was obtaining one of the original Epic mounts until they were changed through the vendor. I'm curious if there will be a time frame for players to grab the original versions of their racial epic mounts before the changes made later on in patches?

Saw ancient frostsaber in kronos the other day, which is 1.12, what Nost and Elysium will be.. so I'm assuming a positive yes.

It became that way in some patch in vanilla. I'm pretty sure that nost has it the other way and it's changing at some point in progress

Well if they let everyone who scrapes together 10 gold in the first month or so have them they won't be as special, but I guess they can't just switch the prices around because people would just buy cheap mounts then wait for the riding skills to switch back. Better that they just lock all mount purchases by needing the riding skill at first.

IIRC after the update on Nost that removed the old mounts the mounts purchased and not used could be sold for x amount of days.

 

Can anyone else confirm / deny this?

A week before removing old mounts become BoE and 1000g.

Ven is correct, there was 1 week where the old mounts were boe for 1000g. Sadly there was no warning this was going to happen so very few people were able to scrape together 1k gold for the boe mounts.

if I'm an UD tho I can't buy the ivory raptor unless I get exalted with darkspear yea? (aka not really possible without cloth turn ins) .. can I buy the mount without exalted rep? I don't think I can? or can I make an alt lvl 1 troll and put 1k gold on it for the boe?

What people did was have a VERY trusted guildy/friend of the relevant race (troll being the example for raptors) buy the BoE mount. After the cloth turn in quest became available they would get exalted and then have the friend/guildy trade over the mount. The troll alt thing may work but I have no personal experience with that method. In my guild we just had long time buddies hold onto them.

If the fresh server keeps the same timeline, looks like we will have 5 months from launch to buy them. DM east for mage farming won't be available for 3 months so I guess hunter mara runs might be one of the easiest.
