Reckoning is bugged on this server, it no longer allows me to stack and hold the 5 charges forever in AV, from testing on lvl 50 mobs it used to last forever, even after BG i could go outside and duel someone and still have reck. Need more testing done to figure out whats going on, where can i submit this bug?

You might read the blue post and to explain what you do to lose that 5 charges . When do you loose them etc.

 

Sub zone and weapon swap usually would cause loosing charges .

Not even with Imp SoR talent but I did Judge Crusader first and am stacking around 220 spell damage or so with Sanctity Aura up as well - my current spec is 0/26/26.

 

And yes, Fire Strike is from:

 

Fiery Plate Gauntlets

Binds when equipped

Hands

Plate

379 Armor

+10 Fire Resistance

Durability 45 / 45

Requires Level 53

Equip: Adds 4 fire damage to your weapon attack.

They really shouldn't be scaling with spell damage at all. We've been over this point before and there is no evidence from vanilla proving they stacked and there is even evidence in the case of Storm Gauntlets that they didn't. The only evidence pointing to spell damage applying is from after Burning Crusade, which systematically revamped the spell damage formulas.

 

To get back to the topic at hand, the best Reckoning weapon is indeed the slowest weapon you can find (because they get more from attack power), high attack power and crit preferred. Arcanite Reaper works very well here. But The Nicker from LBRS is also good, being even slower at 4.00 speed and having a damaging proc. You might also want to use the Elemental Sharpening Stone for the extra 2% crit.
