Yahoo Verification Email Issue

I see that a lot of people are having issues using Yahoo or pretty much anything that's not gmail. I'm in the same boat, only when I made my account I was linked directly into the page to transfer my nost token. Which I of course did, now I'm stuck figuring out how I can get a valid verification email for my account.

 

I'd love to be able to just use my gmail account, but that's not an option for me anymore as I have already used my nost token on this yahoo email. I'm hoping that there is some sort of fix or work around for this problem.

Hopefully one of the staff has a Yahoo email to test with. I would suggest testing the following:

1) Change the sender to from Elysium-project.org not .com

2) Try a simple plain text email with no HTML or URLs

3) Check DNS to verify the sending server's IP resolves to an Elysium-project.org host name

Meanwhile my own account is in limbo because I want to keep the name I just registered.

How do I do this, I guess I'm missing something. I can't get to the token copy step without verifying my email first. When I open control panel it just gives me the verify email option.

I'm a new user and I signed up for a new account and I am having the same issues. I'm not trying to transfer an old account though. I signed up for the forums to ask for help and that email verification just came through 15 minutes ago. I signed up for the forums about an hour and a half after I signed up for an account.

Are you sure? I too have a Yahoo account. I have received no verification email. I got my Nostalrius token. I went to use the token on the Elysium page. It told me I needed to verify my email to continue. Now I am here. If it might help solve the issue, the verification email for creating this forum account worked just fine.

This seems like the very opposite of being able to do it without verifying first

After much frustration, I finally got my first account done, but now I'm stalled on the 2nd because their broken site won't send its verification. The first one had this issue too, but after spamming the resend button enough times, it eventually sent one. (and only 1, out of the dozen or so that should have arrived). Now I can't get one to pop for my 2nd account. Waited 2 different hours this time, still haven't gotten one for it. Seems like you just have to keep hitting the button, and hoping for the best. Wait for one issue to get fixed, just so you can get stuck on the next one.

 

I don't have an option to use the token without verifying, not that it matters anyway. You would not be able to log into the account. You really want to put your characters on an account you can't use???

Hopefully there will be a way to change the Verification E-mail once sent. I'll gladly switch to Gmail but my character is already claimed on that account :/

It's been 9+ hours since I requested my first Verification email. I've requested 2 additional emails to be sent without receiving anything yet.

 

Attempted to go into Discord and ask for support from a GM. No response.

Today the verification mail arrived at my yahoo email. So maybe they fixed something.

After 22 Hours waiting , i receive the 1st verification code.

 

This end up "Error" because i had over 5 more requests during the day waiting .

 

 

Now it seems that i will have to do this tomorrow midnight with hopes that this will get fixed.

 

This is not just Yahoo.com but also Mail.com

I also received 2 messages on my yahoo mail after 10 hours, but both links are invalid

maybe they are overwriting each other so only the last one will be valid, if and when it comes.  so if ya spammed it like 20 times, yer gonna have to wait through 19.
