How about releasing the fresh server? Because by doing that it would A L L E V I A T E the stress on 2 servers. Say Fresh server gets 5000k in queue, then people would just roll on another server with less queue and not pressure on only 2 servers! lol

 

You asked for the "old seervur" and now you reap the fruits of having to spend your days in a queue!

What's currently happening is exactly what every single human involved in this project knew was going to happen, and they decided to hold off anyway. So it's not likely they'll release it now. It'll start thinning out as the people who are binge playing now start logging, as well as once the people who will inevitably not like it leave.

They didn't want to release all the realms together, so now we're stuck until they get more out there. But even with the fresh one; the old ones can't contain smaller population caps. We need MORE REALMS, ones that will take transfers.

And here we see another person who completely fails to understand that the entire point of this project was to revive the Nost servers, and that the fresh server is just a bonus.

I think they need to put those who are starting new accounts at the back of the queue and allow those who were active when the shutdown happened get preferential treatment.

 

If that is not enough to stop the large queues then don't allow new accounts to log in until things calm down in a few weeks.

Your not getting it. Roll the fresh server at the same time and 1/2 the total players will go there making the queue time on the fresh server a killer as well as the lag. However the old servers will lose likely half of the Nost pop who are also wanting to go fresh which means a shortage of players along with no new blood on the old Nost servers. Within a week many on Nost servers will be seeing a declining population while people can't get stuff going and decide to join friends on the fresh server. Old servers quickly die with the lack of fresh blood and a lot of old Nost players going fresh. This means the Fresh server is way overburdened while 2 servers sit at low population.

 

The point of waiting on the fresh server was to give a chance for the old Nost servers to recover their populations and get them involved again as well as some new blood that don't wait that say they will go fresh when it happens but come level 30ish when the fresh server comes out they decide to remain staying new blood. Old servers get a decent population and fresh server still ends up with a large fresh population.

 

Yes it sucks we have to wait but that's how it is. The only other option that makes actual sense would have been saying screw the old Nost servers and releasing a fresh PvP and fresh PvE server along with a 3rd server to be determined by whichever likely needs another (likely PvE).
