What is to blame for long loading screens?

If you are talking about loading screen after you get on server and select character, it has nothing to do with server. It is happening because of number and optimization of addons that you are using.

There is still constant communication between the client and server even after you're logged in. Obviously it's some sort of server side issue when on the pve server and kronos it takes like 4 seconds and on the pvp server it takes like 30+. It's not a new issue either. Used to happen on nost pvp before the shutdown during peaks.

i had this problem on other servers such as Kronos when having too many addons enabled. HOWEVER, here it happened to me, so I disabled all addons and the problem persisted. I think it has something to do with loading the high amount of players in the zone around you. Enabled all my addons again and it took just as long to load as it did without them. Using EVGA Nvidia Gtx 750 graphics card with 4gb ram and quad core processor.
