Players have the ability to say whatever they want in-game, just as Elysium staff have the ability to enforce actions against said players for speech that violates their Terms of Service. There's nothing inherently preventing someone from saying whatever comes to mind, but the consequences of those words must also be accepted. That means if you say something that Elysium is not comfortable with having on their server, they are free to prevent you from playing on it.

 

 

Also, I believe you're looking for the 1st amendment, the 2nd amendment is the right to bear Arms.

I dont care about the political opinions.I dont care what side has right or wrong.Trade channel and General channel is for ingame infos and content.Otherwise is spam and ruins the purpose of the channel.If you want to socialise you can do it in a proper way without spaming.

 

No matter if its 2004 or 2016 the game and the server has rules and you must to respect them.

 

However its a choice of the devs how do they want to continue on that matter.

Don't be childish. Limiting what people can talk about regarding topics because someone might get offended or it might be controversial is immature. Being 40 years old doesn't give you some grand wisdom about what should be censored in chat. If you don't like what someone says, simple use the /ignore feature. It's in the game for a reason.

 

That being said, to say that General/Trade is only for in game info/content is funny. Did you actually play retail?
