Most consumables not working - Compilation list.

Consumables, most consumables seem to be bugging. Here is the list of the ones I have discovered so far:

1. Elixir of Poison Resistance apparantly has a 2 minute cooldown, it is not supposed to have a cooldown. However, it is supposed to have a ~1.5 second gcd with other elixirs.

2. Whipper Root Tuber - Does not work if healing potion or mana potion is on cooldown. Whipper Root Tuber is not supposed to share cooldowns with other consumables, it is only supposed to share CD with other Runes, i.e Demonic Rune, Dark Rune and Night Dragon's Breath, and possibly a few more.

3. Oils. None of the oil's are working, Not the lesser ones and not the bigger ones and not even the lowest level ones. I get that that Brilliant Oil's are not working intentionaly, but this does not explain why none of the other 5+ Oil's are not working.

4. Mageblood Potion, this seem to be on a 2 minute cooldown, I have not tested it enough, due to it's price, but I have been in a situation two times where it did not work when attempting to reapply it, I assume it has a similar issue as Whipper Root Tuber has, where it goes on a cooldown either triggered by it self or by other elixir's / consumables.

 

Is there any particular reason all of these consumables + probably many more don't work? They worked fine on Nostalrius, why mess with something that worked ?

Most of the stuff mentioned used to work previously on Nostalrius PvP. Wait for patch 1.9 (AQ) most stuff will work again.

 

Also multi queue BG is in 1.9 yay for that.

Oh yey, 1mil+ honor br2.

 

It was removed for a reason, and it wasn't 1.9. Solo pvp was completely ruined by premades jumping from BG to BG to avoid fighting.

2. Was also on Nost a month or 2 before the end, although not previous to this. Applies to nightdragon too. Farmed a crap ton of them and couldn't use because a pot is more powerful.

What hurts pvp is that premades push out all casual pvpers.  I pvp'd casually on retail vanilla, but I don't pvp at all on nost, because I'm not excited about waiting 20-30 minutes in order to get a 3v10 steamroll.  Honor farming is just way more prevalent than it was in actual vanilla and it makes pvp painful.  And the more the premades push out the casuals, the less appealing it is for casuals, leading to a cycle of unsatisfying pvp.  Eliminating the ability to group queue entirely might actually make pvp playable.

Hello, what realm is this happening on?

As far as I know everything is working as intended. EoPR has no CD, Whipper Root Tuber can be used with potions, Mageblood Potion doesn't have a 2-minute CD. If you have evidence proving that oils weren't added prior to patch 1.9 then please provide us with the necessary documentation. Additionally, in the future if you could please provide factual evidence with sources as well as proof on your end (which realm; screenshots; video, etc.) that these items aren't working correctly. It'd be most helpful.

Best practice would be to use the Bugtracker (when it isn't down) going forward.

Regarding that whipper root tuber bug you speak of, it's been around forever. If you use a whipper root and then a healing potion you will be fine, however, if you use the potion first, you can't use any of the felwood consumables.
