Can we at least double the spawn rate of quest items in the new Server...?

Nobody could possibly give me a single good reason as to why quest collectibles should take so long to spawn on a custom server that has way more players than Blizzard's servers did back in the day. Stop being stubborn. Fix this.

Anyway they already posted that they are working on including quest items into the dynamic respawn system that is running already.

For now you will just need level man mode.

Quest spawns are like mob spawn timers - dynamic zone by zone. This was confirmed by a GM on discord some time ago. For launch they should just give the pick-up items a 5sec respawn time to prevent bottlenecks but...idk really, they can do what they want. Get ahead of the curve and it's not an issue after the first 15-20 hours of the server launch :P

Could you please give the link? I know they were talking about the implementation but I didn't see that it was already added.

I can't buddy sorry! I asked the question on discord a couple of weeks ago and I believe it was Pottu who answered. Perhaps I'm not remembering and they said it was something they intended to do and not something that was already implemented? 

Quite sure it was stated that it was already in the dynamic spawn system though? I remember testing it in the game and stuff like rumbleshot's ammo seemed to spawn quicker than usual but I haven't done any complete testing/comparison work as I just took their word for it that it was in the game.

I just spent an hour gathering Wood in the Elwynn Logging camp. I timed it and it took 9-10 minutes for every piece of wood to respawn.

I don't care about people's misguided opinions. This needs to be reduced to a MINUTE tops. If you want to have an interesting queue mechanic, a minute is all you need. Not being able to find this crap COMPLETELY goes against the roleplay, so nobody can give that excuse, either.

 

Just fix it. There's absolutely zero reason not to. Simply make the rates high. There's 12000 players on the server. TEN times more than what Blizzard designed these droprates for! Elysium team, I was going to donate. But I won't until this is fixed. I'm sure you couldn't care less if you lose just one $50 donation, but I digress; pull your head out of your asses and fix this!

 

I WORK 6 DAYS A WEEK. I DON'T WANT TO SPEND ONE GODDAMN HOUR ON WAITING FOR RESPAWNING COLLECTIBLES!

 

What is the matter with you people, honestly?

Then don't do the pick up quest?

It isn't inline with your opinion therefore it is misguided?

It isn't broken.

You are not entitled to anything. Infact you sound like you come straight from retail ...

Go back to retail if you can't handle it. You will not be missed.

Human Warlock imp quest requires a book groundspawn, it has a ~4 minute respawn on the Nost realms currently and has been that way since the servers relaunched. Even with an instant respawn it'll take people a while of standing and spam-looting when the new server launches. Right now it'll be faster to go do the gnome quest instead which tells you how broken it is.

Dynamic respawn for quest items would be great, and I'm 99% sure it's not implemented yet despite what somebody claimed.

Threatening a company never gets anything done. It's true those logs and a few other items are harder to get due to the population being so high. I even just abandoned the log collecting quest as I could gain the exp I was going to get from it by grinding the murlocs. People like you disgust me by saying you are going to donate but wont till something is fixed. People like you are the bottom of the barrel type of people anyways. If you ever was thinking about donating you would have done so already and not use this as an excuse why you shouldn't.

Consider me on the "give this crap a fast respawn" boat.  I'm glad to hear they're lumping it into the dynamic system. 

In the meantime, kill boars.  Don't even bother with these quests in populated zones.  You'll make more silver and exp per hour by an order of magnitude just hoovering up random animals in the forest.
