Krusified - great example of what screenshots should show.  That tells a complete story and provides strong evidence.  I've added Disabled to the blacklist.

Eskild - A great example of what screenshots shouldn't show.  All I see here is a change to master looter.  No party members upset, no evidence that this wasn't the plan all along - do you have screenshots to prove, through other players besides yourself, that master looter wasn't planned for and that loot wasn't reserved?  Show me some conversation here.

Rocx - That really isn't what this thread is for.  What he's doing is completely legit.  Call in 60's who know how to jump to handle this.

Jyash - Why would it be more convenient with the players sorted by faction?  As I understand it, names are shared across both factions, so there's not really much potential for confusion.

As the list gets more populated, it might be helpful to only bother keeping track of the names within one's own faction.

The Elysium staff recognizes all play styles to be valid and a part of the game and not harassment. Killing players of your opposing faction, including camping players at spirit healers, corpses and/or gravestones, is considered a part of the game.

While playing on a Player vs. Player server, you should always remember to protect yourself in zones where the members of a hostile faction can attack you.

c ). Safespotting

Safespotting is prohibited under all circumstances. This is the act of engaging in PvP combat while exploiting a position that cannot be reached with basic jumping (no wall-climbing), or engaging enemy players while being in an advantageous position where guards cannot reach you due to pathing, line of sight, or any other game mechanic.

 

Oh and before I see someone also starts complaining about it, I also do stream snipe some of the alliance streamers from time to time.

b ). Streaming / Stream Sniping

Streaming on any service is allowed by Elysium, however, we encourage you to research the TOU of the streaming service you intend to use in order to protect your streaming account.

The act of "stream sniping" is not a violation of this agreement as we cannot intervene if someone in-game makes the decision to communicate their every move, thereby informing other users of their position and/or in-game status.

You're are right and so am I. In fact this paragraph contradicts itself. If you reach an area only accessible via jumping (no wall climbing) it is very improbable that if you somehow aggro a guard it will manage to pathfind to you and not evade instead.

I think you missed my point. This server sells itself as "Blizzlike", Blizzard never did anything about this very particular roof and anyone who has been around during Vanilla and TBC knows it very well.

If the GMs of Elysium feel it should be different then they can always talk with me. Otherwise I will do the same things that many people including myself used to do back in 2006.

Other than that this thread is absolutely terrible. And apparently so are the people posting in here. Incapable to interacting politely in non CAPSlocked characters. A never ending torrent of crying, insults and OMG BAN BANNNNNN.

What does a DPS warrior need with an extra 200 armor? It is stated earlier in this thread that the warrior was a Fury main and tanking but rolling on Fury gear.

I'm not buying that leather boots with +40 MAP is better option than battlechaser's greaves, with +14str (28 MAP) and +13agi(0,5% crit). This warrior dude just rolled on them for the same reason hunters roll on all fucking melee weapon. And since we are speaking about BoP items - this warrior in question is definitely in the wrong for rolling on leather boots from a rogue people claim to be a ninja.

So, in my eyes the story went like this:

In a UBRS run lead by a warrior tank who said that he is going to be rolling for fury gear, a piece of leather boots drops, leather user rolls on them, warrior also rolls on them and wins.

Rogue gets pissed off but remains quiet, rolls on a plate gear out of spite and continues to act psychotic and gets the blame because of his attitude.

 

Sure, fury warrior itemisation (post 1h melee weapons fix, which is weird, because it definitely happened somewhere in naxx era, so furry "dps" never was a thing. I may be wrong because my memory is hazy, but i remember fury warriors tanking - not dpsing) is fucked up with stuff like mail hunter D1 set being great pickup (hit+MAP+crit, great deal), but it's a dick move if you roll them from a nose of a hunter. Because, you know, it's BoP item, you can't just waltz in an AH and buy them, you have to rely on a random drop + on a roll.

Moral of this story is: don't act like a dick towards man-child (or childs) or unstable players in a game when they can fuck you up after that. I see no reasons why this "Disabled" guy should be on blacklist. If anything, he may be a heavy RP (disabled rogue after all)

specializing in 1 thing (be it dmg, tanking or healing) is the definition of beeing efficient. if u want to be an inefficient allrounter than thats your problem, better grab some def items on furywarriors instead of ap or hit.

They are not, but Battlechaser's Greaves is a random drop and decently expensive, so farming it is unreliable. The boots on the other hands are the second best option in this patch and drop relatively frequently.
