avl8 0 Report post Posted January 6, 2017 Guys, what do you think of Engineering for Druids? It provides ressurect cables, grenades, goggles, death rays, rocket boots, dragonlings and other cool stuff. Is it a viable profession for a PvE druid? For a Resto PvE? Is it a good profession for PvP druid? Is it worth taking over Leatherworking or Alchemy? Thanks in advance!
Lorilay 12 Report post Posted January 7, 2017 (edited) PvE it doesn't matter unless you're for some reason in a group with melee DPS that can use the squawk buff. PvP engineering and blacksmithing are the best options by far (once you level up enchanting enough to make the tanking trinket). Leatherworking and alchemy have 0 benefits outside of convenience for your guild. Edited January 7, 2017 by Lorilay

Lorilay 12 Report post Posted January 8, 2017 Glimmering Mithril Insignia. It requires BS to equip and no other profession has an item better than that and engineering. And squawk is a melee buff from the Gnomish Battle Chicken.
suhail1200 3 Report post Posted January 15, 2017 Pretty much what Lorilay has said.BS/Engi is best proffessions for pvp generally or go minn/engi or her/engi which lets u farm and pvp at the same time. Engi for the bombs/stuns/helmets/boots etc..BS is kinda needed for a druid since it gives immunity to fear which we are kinda meh in.
szuszak 2 Report post Posted January 16, 2017 wasn't tailoring also quite decent with the nets to catch rogue/warrior/shamans/pallies? but yeah engi is top than enchanting and bs trinkets i don't think you will be able to win vs competent sp and locks without shadow res gear+reflectors so plan on getting engi late game skinning+mining/herb is always a good choice when starting new character since it gives you extra cash while lvling ppl say you can drop it once you hit 40 and can afford the mount but imo it will make you most money with rugged leather so just stick with it and collect prof mats on alts and drop it once you have all mats for lvling your profesions of choice
