2nd fresh plz ty

yeah been in que for 4 hours and still several ks away from playing.

This is some real bullshit, most people have a life you know, so even If I start que when I wake up I might even be abel to play when I get in (about 4-5 hours later)
Or when I want to play like lets say " oh it's 17pm and I'm free from work and I wanna play wow tonight" oh no w8 I can't cause even if I start que now I get in maybe at 23pm then it's to late.

This is almost worst then if there was no wow server, now there is a wow vanilla sever but it's to hard to get in to play.

Please for the love of christ just start another fresh server already, if not then you are really stupid

The current servers are already having problems with too few GM's for the number of requests. A 4th server would require even more GMs. Left alone the question: Who will pay for the new server?

They have phasing/clustering implemented.  Literally no point in a 2nd server.

Meh, im considering sloping the fresh server altogether, No chance getting ahead the others in zone switching if you have to sit through a 5hour que every day because people are leaving their computers on when they go to work and sleep running it 24/7. You need to restart the server like every 4hours so people cant do this :(

The thing you're not realizing is 80% of the people that are going to quit are going to quit because they literally CAN'T play. You have no way of knowing the # of people that will actually quit due to it being vanilla.

What you're not realizing is that servers require resources from real life people. Time and energy. They are a volunteer staff that is already stretched to the max. Maybe you should join the staff. Help lighten the load.

The fresh server is exactly what anyone with half a brain knew it would be. If you don't like it, play on one of the other 2 servers they are providing for free.

When did I say I didn't realize that?

So your logic is since their team isn't big enough (in your opinion) we shouldn't open another server.

By that logic, if everyone that is currently a GM for Nost PVP quit, should we just shut down Nost PVP since we don't have enough staff to support it?

You're asking if they would shut down a server that had no one to help run it? Is this a serious question? I'm sure they would put some serious effort into trying to find replacements asap. But, yeah, if there is no one to manage a server, then you can't run a server.

You're under the assumption that the reason there isn't a 4th server already is because they don't have the "manpower" to run a 4th server. The reason there isn't a 4th server is because they didn't think they'd need a 4th server. Plain and simple.

Btw. Did I read that they are actually planning on a 2nd fresh server? Or were people just trolling in that thread? Supposedly they said something about it on twitter.

Because we have people acting like it's a bad idea to release another fresh server. If nobody says anything the staff is just going to see all of the "No not another fresh server!!" opinions and think that the majority of players are against it.

Just play on 1 of the other 2 servers if u cant play on the fresh one. Hell even after waiting for 6hours to get into the server its gonna take u another 6hours to get past lvl 5

I can play on the fresh one, just after sitting in a 5 hr queue. Also, leveling is fast on fresh since everything respawns nearly instantly.

I think this is more of a lack of patience than anything. They have said they see the need of possibly reasing anot her server. Let them do their thing.

Atm there are ~8k online +3k in the character screen +13k in the que, amounting to ~25k total for just a single realm.

considering an even split in the event of a new server we'd be looking at 12.5k ppl per server. Even if it is as you say and lets say 30% of both realms dont stay that still leaves 8+k per realm.

which is a fine number, possibly even better then 12k per realm.

It's literally the exact same thing that's happened to every private server at launch. Huge hype, huge q's, for about a month, this one may last a couple months because of the "Nost" stigma, but it will even out. It always does. At this point launching a 4th server this soon is just a poor decision. 

Patience is a virtue, and nobody seems to have any.

They should first fix the problem with people not getting kicked from the character selection screen and ban all the players who use bots or macros to stay online, then wait for one or two weeks. If we then still have the same issues, it's a good idea to open a 4th server. If / when the amount of players massively decreases, they can merge Elysium 1 and 2, since they are on the same timeline.
