Warrior leveling Zones

Recommended Posts

Gentlemen,

First, I would like to thank the community for providing tips about leveling, such as specs and tactics. However, there is another aspect that has not been covered, which is Where to level.

After lurking a little bit, I read that most warrior experts say that leveling a warrior is, most of the time, harder than other classes. Taking this into account, I have my doubts that most leveling guides apply literaly to us. So, could someone provide a guide that shows us where to quest/grind depending on our level?

Right now im almost lvl 28. I finished every quests in Duskwood (except morben fe) so im leveling in Wetlands now. Where should I go after I finish this zone? Im playing on Nost PVP, so I would like to avoid STV, which is where most guides reccomend at lvl 30.

Edit: I AM ALLIANCE

Thanks

I have no doubts about it, but is there a way to avoid STV?

Go desolace at lvl 30

Some guildies told me so, it sounds like a nice idea.

Right now im 29, finishing wetlands. I think Im going to grind the rest in arathi highlands, or gnomeregan. At wha tlvl should I do the quests in Alterac Mountains?

Pretty much every leveling zone past 30 is contested, and Warriors are kinda meh in PvP without good gear, so you're an easy target for gankers.

At level 30, you can do:

-starting quests in Southshore

-a few quests in Desolace (make sure to pick up the Reclaimers quest in Ironforge that leads you to Desolace)

-finish up Wetlands

-one of the starting quests in Arathi

From 30-40 I do a mix of STV, Desolace, Arathi and Hillsbrad. At level 33 you can go do Shimmering Flats, which will get you a good ~70% EXP due to how many mobs you have to kill for all the quests. I'd advise skipping the scorpion and vulture quests though, because they have fuckshit drop rate and fuckshit spawn rate, respectively.

Desolace is probably your best bet.  Contested or not, ganking is not equal in all zones and everyone knows that StV is the most AIDS there is (why the fuck would you not just go to the PvE server?).  Arathi usually has a fair number of people in it and Alterac gets a reasonable amount of traffic near the ogres and syndicate (so if you stick to the western and northern parts of the zone, you're probably ok, like the Syndicate camps along the northern mountain range or the coast of the lake).  Desolace is just kind of one of those shitty zones like Swamp of Sorrows or Blasted Lands where very few people level.  Mostly, you're just going to see Horde going there for Mara.  And there will often be a few other Alliance in the zone for the SM pre-quest.  Or, you know, you could just run gnomer a fuck ton of times.

Right now im in Desolace, kinda happy. lvl 33 atm. I think im gonna run out of quests soon though. Im not sure about shimmering, because its a gankfest just like STV.

In lvl 35 aprox I will move back to hillsbard, so I can do a few quests while I find groups for Scarlet Monestary.
