[HOT] Monthly payment to skip queues?

Hello!

I work 8 hours per day, and there's no way that I'll be able to play with the current queues. As I work and earn money, I'd be very happy if you had a "premium spot monthly payment option" for those willing to pay.

That said, you currently have a limit of 10500-12000 players online at the same time on Elysium PVP. If you were to drop that number to 8000 "free account spots" and 4000 "premium spots", that would be awesome.

I'm certain that there would be a lot of people willing to pay 20$ a month (or even more) for such a premium service. I know I would!

Is that doable? I know that the server is nonprofit and all, but this would be to cover all of your costs and maybe pay your game masters/other staff for their hours spent working on Elysium!

I also have a job but this aint going to happen thats a given.

It's contrary to the fundamental beliefs Nostalrius is build upon.

Everything wich is buzzing around Nostalrius and Elysium just goes to show how immensly popular vanilla is.

This would also be another reason to shutdown Nostalrius again. Just enjoy the moment and ride your wave when its up.

This suggestion, along with faction change, race change, name change, cross realm, are some of the most prolific suggestions on this forum.

The hype will eventually calm down, some people will give up playing on the server as they are not willing to take the queues anymore. Also lots of people give up once they see how long it takes to level in vanilla. The population should stabilise in a few weeks and queues should be more manageable. Just give it 2-3 weeks time and you will see.

In the first 2 weeks after relaunch we even had queues of 3000 - 5000 on the PvE server. Now after 1 month we only had a queue of 500 on Sunday, which is the most busy day usually. Granted some people left for the fresh PvP server but most PvE players will stay here.

We are not P2W and never, ever, will be. Such features go against our project philosophy. We are not going to place players in an unequal position either. So the answer is no.
