Numeta 4 Report post Posted January 27, 2017 I have seen over 15 of these. There is no possible way people are legitimately finding this weapon. Please investigage your servers?
Nelythia 44 Report post Posted January 27, 2017 Its not really rare. I got it on my first ZF run on PvE too.
Numeta 4 Report post Posted January 27, 2017 a item that requires two swords, of which share a 2% drop rate. Are you daft?
Nelythia 44 Report post Posted January 27, 2017 (edited) The drop chance isnt that low at all. Also its blue swords from a 40-47 instance. You can easily get that sword while leveling. Either with luck in one run or just in multiple. Still doesn't make it supposed to be rare or freeloot. Edited January 27, 2017 by Nelythia
Numeta 4 Report post Posted January 27, 2017 (edited) TWO PERCENT DROP RATE ON BOTH SWORDS Nelythia clearly math is not your strong suit. Edited January 27, 2017 by Numeta
Nelythia 44 Report post Posted January 27, 2017 As said, the drop rate isnt that low. Also the bosses don't drop that much different items either. You get the point now?
Numeta 4 Report post Posted January 27, 2017 (edited) I get you're a moron and I'm just as dumb for replying to some retard with an anime avatar. Edited January 27, 2017 by Numeta

Numeta 4 Report post Posted January 27, 2017 (edited) i just want you to reallly think about what you are saying. Two swords one with a 1.72% drop rate and another with a 2.02% drop rate are not that rare. I'm really picturing you thinking this one out. It's always the anime weebs who are braindead. Lorilay 12 Report post Posted January 27, 2017 What evidence do you have that it's a 2% drop rate? I see 10% on db.vanillagaming.org.

Tinkler 2 Report post Posted January 28, 2017 21 hours ago, Nelythia said: http://db.vanillagaming.org/?item=11086 http://db.vanillagaming.org/?item=9379 Those are way off. The drop rates in Atlas Loot (in game) are much more accurate. In all of Vanilla and Burning Crusade, I've seen them combined maybe twice. Sang'thraze is 2.10%, Jang'thraze is 1.72%. One would expect to see Sang'thraze 1 time every 48 runs, and see Jang'thraze 1 time every 58 runs. It's reasonable to assume you would never see both of them drop in the same run (probabilty of 0.036%), so one would need to run through ZF about 106 times before having a reasonable chance of creating Sul'thraze. You could find both pieces after 20 runs, or it could take 200 runs, but you're not going to see that in 1 or 2 runs.
Nelythia 44 Report post Posted January 28, 2017 Well I got both in my first ZF run and used that sword until 55 or so...
Numeta 4 Report post Posted January 28, 2017 (edited) Like I said, it seems broken. Please fix, no free loot please. Please refrain from posting your unintelligent opinion and go watch more cartoons. Edited January 28, 2017 by Numeta
Lorilay 12 Report post Posted January 29, 2017 https://elysium-project.org/bugtracker/ Include evidence (preferably a wayback link to Thottbot or Allakhazam rather than a current game mod).
Tinkler 2 Report post Posted January 30, 2017 13 hours ago, Lorilay said: https://elysium-project.org/bugtracker/ Include evidence (preferably a wayback link to Thottbot or Allakhazam rather than a current game mod). It's not a current mod; the mod is from 2006. Did anyone read the comments on the link saying it's a 10% drop rate? The people posting there are saying that it's nowhere near 10%. http://db.vanillagaming.org/?item=11086#wh-comments (Jang'thraze) "This took me about 20 Zul'Farrak runs in total to get" (patch 2.0.1) "Is this drop rate correct? I've done this over 15 times and still no sword... 19% seems pretty high for that not to happen. Anyone?" (patch 3.1.3) "AtlasLoot says 1.72% drop chance dunny it also says otehr sword is 2% yet i got that one in 2nd try now im on like try 35 for this one" (patch 3.1.3) "stupidly hard to get. if youre after this sword, beware. nothing but "Big bad Pauldrons" will drop for at least 50 times. not everyone is a warrior blizz." (patch 2.4.2) "Sword does not exist, and it is definitely not a 9% drop rate -.- 24 kills and going for my paladin. Edit: finally got it on 29 woot!" (patch 3.1.3) This seems to be the general consensus in other parts of the internet.https://www.gamefaqs.com/boards/534914-world-of-warcraft/47296990 (8 years ago) "Neither are any easier than the other. They both have like a 1-2% drop rate."http://www.gamefaqs.com/boards/534914-world-of-warcraft/47208924 (8 years ago) "Thought so [it's not worth it], my frined said he got both of them in 6 runs which sounds almsot impossible." "The sword you have has about a 1% drop rate, the other one you are trying to get has a 2% drop rate... I would keep trying to get it since you already have got the hard one out of the way." And that is why I've only seen it a couple times. It's extremely hard to get. Blizz (in 2005-2006) expects you to run a dungeon 5 times to get the blue gear, but you'll need to run 50+ times if you want purple gear. To get a sense of how Vanilla worked, look at the effort required to turn the blue D1 armor sets into the purple D2 armor sets. It's a huge investment of time and money. Blizz never gave purple gear to people who ran a dungeon 2 or 3 times and then moved on. Look at the drop rate of Ironfoe from the end boss of BRD. It was less than 1%, and I've never personally seen it drop. The effort required to craft dark iron gear is ridiculous, and that's just for blue gear. Purple is an order of magnitude rarer and harder to get.
smokeit 26 Report post Posted January 30, 2017 Idk, back when nostalrius was still up (original, not elysium combination) I died 3 runs total and got both swords, even one double. Pretty sure it has a quite high droprate. Or all privates have wrong values for it. Don't really care.
DeTosc 1 Report post Posted January 30, 2017 I have farmed "Sul'Thraze The Lasher" on Retail within less than 10 runs. One of the 1 hd swords even droped twice. You are either lucky or completely screwed, RNG is a bitch :)
masochisme 4 Report post Posted January 30, 2017 Anyway, it is a 2.6 speed 2H sword, which is not very good.

This server has had a run of double bindings in MC. Does that mean it is broken? No. Just seems you are salty.

KonigsTiger 2 Report post Posted January 31, 2017 I have seen the sword from the last boss drop twice in a row. But I still dont have the one from the first boss after 4 ZF runs, feelsbad man. It´s not really useful for me I think anyway, since the 2.60 speed of the epic might not be the best for arms warriors.
Pottu 290 Report post Posted January 31, 2017 Please make a bug tracker post with your evidence and the QA team will verify it. Maybe the drop rate is wrong, maybe it isn't. However, in all such cases it is important to remember that all our realms are heavily populated, meaning that items that were only rarely seen back in 2005 or 2006, can be seen more often here. Which is why we need more evidence than just a feeling or a possibly hazy memory.
