Elemental spec for both pvp and raiding

Is it possible to have a pvp elemental spec that is sufficient for raiding too? This is a spec I just came up with: http://db.vanillagaming.org/?talent#oZxgRzf0uhVVM0Rbt 

Any suggestions to a spec and is it possible with a hybrid pvp/pve spec?

pvp with no ice barrier? 2 points in fire power should go to arcane to get -10 resistance. you are a good mage

It's only really possible if your guild doesn't mind.  But keep in mind you will likely be one of the lowest DPS in the raid if you are allowed to use such a spec.  There really isn't a spec that is considered good for both PVP and PVE.

i can't believe you are doing pvp/pve spec and you don't have Elemental Precision... absolutely neccessary for not only PVE but helps in pvp too a bit.

If he has hit chance on his gear, it really doesn't matter since you're only ever facing lvl 60s in pvp against which you only need 3% hit chance.

mainly relying on the instant casts, and scorch in between with rank 1 frost bolt (with improved frost bolt) for slowing ppl. but i really think u need a lot of gear to pull off an elemental spec.. without the ice barrier and no gear, ur gonna get rekt by everyone.

 

and for pvp i really dont think u need hit chance right? get [crit % > dmg > stam] for pvp, for elemental i think. u really need dem fire spells to crit

I myself raided a long time as Winters Chill mage with almost a near complete full frost pvp spec during the early days. It's one of the few specs that you could really combine pve & pvp.

for pvp you dont need hit chance but he said its a pvp/pve spec... so he really shouldnt be forgoing it..
