After 4-5 days I still don't know the exact reason of my ban. I have a lot of questions;

1) Does someone in the GM team hate me?

2) Why exactly was I banned?

3) Is there any reason for me to continue playing this server or will I get permabanned out of the blue once again?

4) Is there an automated banning system going crazy?

5) Why aren't there more people checking ban appeals seeing how they skyrocketed the last days from 2000 to 2700? (And the numbers are NOT going down at all)

6) Did I actually exploit something whilst I wasn't aware of it?

7) Do I make more posts about this happening to me and multiple other people on these forums, Reddit, whatever? (In the hopes of something being done about it.)

 

I'm truthfully sorry for writing this whole thing down, but this has been a VERY frustrating experience so far. Leaving people in the dark for this long is BRUTAL. I've been patient for quite a while now. I realise there's a buttload of appeals in queue right now but it's not something that cannot be fixed right..

I had nothing but praise about this project, I love the people playing here, I love this game, I would never have done anything to hurt the server.

And last of all, I'm not writing this in an attempt to get my appeal looked at before others, I'm writing this because this was legitimately painfull to read, combined with the people posting "goldbuyer hurr durr xd".

I can only second this.

I have my main account with multiple 60s from Nostalrium i got transfered here with playtime of over 200 days on all characters.

I got ban and had to wait 3 days to even get to the reason why. And when it came i almost fell out of chair in disbelief. Botting. Why the fuck would I bot on BIS main characters account is beyond me and when i asked GM to check logs chat everything during the period he think i was botting i got ignored by him.

All i want is a normal review of this case with chat or call a trial of some sort. This is not helping server if you ban more people than you can handle and catch honest players as collateral.

Yes that are the GMs on this server. Go on and continue patting your backs but permabans should be handled more carefully and appeals to these cases even more so.

First of all, the 2FA did not work for some ppl, including me there is a lot of complains about that. secound of all I changed my password once a week so I did all I could to not get hacked! so you suck it up and stop trying to be a knwo it all

So don't get your hopes up , what they mean by diligently fighting hacks is you get banned for no reason with no explanation. People who didn't even had new models got banned out of nowhere ...

If I had wod models for 2 months with no issues did it take the anticheat 2 months to ban me? No someone manually banned me because they are incompetent .... and don't know what they are doing .....

 

 

I do agree with you that it would be nice to see what the exact reason for the ban is in the Account Panel or anything like that. Since the only way to find out what the reason for your ban is to either wait for a reply on your appeal or to make an in-game ticket (which takes 48  hours+).

Appeals DO get investigated. And perhaps the anti-cheat got updated and caught you eventually, I don't know about that.

Modifying the client is grounds for permanent ban. It does not matter whether you've been doing it for 2 months or 2 hours. Just like gold buying gets you a permanent ban, regardless of whether you bought it 2 months or 2 hours ago. Account sharing gets you a permanent ban, regardless whether you did it just once or for months. End of story and case closed.
