Just a mage stealing a sword from a Warrior

The questreward from Maraudon is better for fury.
The DPS doesn't really matter for prot and it has no stats, so I don't think it's good for tanking.
I doubt you'll use it for Arms.

 

So what were you gonna use it for?

You started 'a list' because you take the game too seriously and are a cop. 1 of 4 people (entire pop) reads forums if that. You are not going to change a 10k community with a goofy thread. I honestly don't see how this could ever be an upgrade for a Mage (Unless of course he is a roleplayer. IF HE IS A ROLEPLAYER then this is still ninjaing due to the fact that (If it was an upgrade for warrior,) it's PVE > PVP > RP loot rules. Unless he is the Dungi master of the Roleplay, then that's fair but i don't think this is a RP server :/

Yes but a weapon that has no real value for pve or pvp automatically can skip right to RP. I'd definitely place a level 52 sword with no special stats except for fun purposes squarely in the RP category.

Well hunters should just start rolling on caster weapons then. I am pretty sure the spell damage will scale their arcane shot JUST fine. :D Mixed arcane/range damage for great results in pvp!!! :D

If it's upgrade to a fury war ASAP i think it'd be more fair to let him have it over a mage who'd use it for RP, Pretty sure the drake was good for leveling. But i see your point. 

I.E the warrior could use the dmg per sec, Vs the mage needing ??? out of it.
