So why are they even assholes? It's the same thing for everyone. It's not quite right to call comeone an asshole just because he doesn't give up his chance for a drop to a stranger.

BoE needers cause people to be less likely to pug due to the chance of losing a BiS BoE epic taken from you by some greedy little piece of crap. It might not be technically ninja looting, but it goes against the common belief of need before greed. The core concept behind items is that they are equipped, not to exchange for god. The reason world drop epics are BoE is because any of them can drop even during solo play, so if you get one not for your class when questing/farming, you can trade it to someone that could actually use it. People buy those BoEs because it's worth more to then than the gold cost or they wouldn't buy it. Should MC pugs have the BoE tier pieces on open roll for all 40 people instead of the appropriate classes?

You can get your "BiS BoE" item from AH, don't be a greedy asshole. There is no such a thing as "farming BoEs" until late wotlk, they are unreliable drops and their value is equal for everyone - it's basically a token for a BoE item for your class.

And you are right, they are BoE so they can be traded - this warrior in question won the roll. OP wants this item for free after losing the roll. See the problem? He didn't said "hey dude will buy it for 50g", he said "equip it", and then demanded this item handled to him for no reason

Oakenlix just has a different mindset from us that's all. All in all Most will see this as ninjaing, no mater what we say how we say it, that is his answer. We may not agree or disagree with it but, it is what it is. Yes this was cleary ninjaing, becuase Personal greed help's no one but oneself, BOES. The fact that some one would screw, one of the most tedious and annoying roles / classes in the game surely us tanks are machonist no? being screwed by easyist farm class (Mage) is almost pure maddness, but again. Diffferent strokes different mindsets. It could be a generation gap? Who know's it's just that in Retail vanilla such greed was unheard of. Unless they where a pure blood troll / greifer etc. I mean this sucks, but atleast it wasn't like your BIS till end game, some people get hurt by this real hard.

Now he' saying all greens should be needed too because "His need to sell it for gold vs your need to equip". He at least had some what of a understandable point when he was defending beermage with "its epic, everyone should need" although I do not agree with it, I could see how he justified it.
