Best realm for newbies

I'm having this conflict at the moment. Start on her about 2 weeks ago. I enjoy doing BGs while leveling. I went horde on Zethkur and decided to do WSG at level 17-19. I've queued probably for 4~ total and played 1 game of WSG and it was 4v5 with ally advantage. I play GMT evening's so don't know if this was a factor. I'm leveling an Ally on Anathema to see if there's any marked difference.

Zk world chat is constantly being spammed with high level dungeon groups forming.

 

No issues finding groups so far

Pretty similar. I've bounced around. Elysium is overcrowded 24/7. Zeth'kur is very similar to vanilla WoW and so far not too many deaths to ganks

Agree with ^^^. Zeth'Kur (PVP) is a newer server than Darrowshire (PVE) and so you'll probably want to join that as a new player. The "danger" isn't nearly as big a deal on ZK as it is on Anathema or Elysium. ZK is the Blizzlike server and there wasn't a huge problem of "ganking" with the populations of retail Vanilla. Same with ZK.

Ally on any of the PVP realms (including ZK) will have better queue times at level 60.

At level 17-19, there will be much faster queues and fuller games on Anathema than ZK (where people are just trying to level up quickly as the realm is new). But less of a difference at 60... and since we don't get any experience for BGs while leveling, it isn't "optimal" to queue for BGs on the way up.

Anathema will have a lot more 17-19s just dicking around and in BGs tho, because they all have a few 60s already and don't need to level. They'll also have a ton of level 19 twinks tho (whereas there are zero on ZK on the way up) so just be prepared to die a lot.

ZK currently below 1k pop and sinking even more day by day. Don't roll there unless you think you you'll enjoy playing on a close to dead server come a month or two.
