Boomkin leveling, feasible?

Tired of feral leveling soooo boring.  Couldn't find a good guide, is it feasible?

There will be a lot of drinking downtime. Wouldn't recommend it. But feasible, sure.

If you want to do mediocre damage and drink every 2-3 mobs, sure, go right ahead.

 

Feral might be boring, but it is by far the fastest, because it has almost no downtime.

+1 Boomkin was never really good in Vanilla sadly.  The drinking game is a spot on description, although if you plan to make it through dungeons as a healer, Boomkin would be the spec the be as the gear/stats needed are very similar. However, if you want a smooth leveling experience, feral is by far the best for survival.

I think that Moonkin would be the best choice in terms of dealing more damage in the shortest period of time and I'm tempted to try it.

IMHO,  a cloth-wearing Moonkin would be pointless.

Boomkin is not viable until lvl 40 so if you want to lvl boomkim better start feral and switch at 40 :)
With some +sp gear it's feasible

Gear isn't a big problem. What people don't seem to be doing as balance leveling is using shapeshifts to regen while still killing mobs. Heck getting that first tier resto talent that gives rage and energy on shift is a huge boon. When you get boomkin then you can open with nature's grasp with pounce shred rip then shift to boomkin and nuke.
