New player to Elysium pvp

Hi all,

My name's Morgan and I'm looking to join Elysium on either Horde or Alliance as a hunter. What side would you recommend and why? I would like to join premades at some point as well as participate in wpvp.

Currently still playing retail wow (never really stopped playing it) but I'd like to relive that old vanilla feel. I've always played Horde. Now as well I like female Orc animations the best for hunters (prefer it over night elf), but I would like to base my decision on something more than animations. How are both factions faring in pvp and wpvp? What about pve?

Feel free to move the topic to an appropriate section of the forums if you feel this is out of place here. Thought I'd just post in pvp forums as that's what I'm most interested in.

Are you trying to help the underdog or join the side that's winning the most? I ask, because your decision on what faction/race to play should be 100% your own  based on what you would prefer to play.

Choosing a side based on statistics may just leave you feeling incomplete at 60 when you are playing on a faction but wished you had started on the other instead. The tides of pvp/pve could swing drastically at some point, as more and more players hit 60 and start doing max level activities.

Currently the only statistics I think you should care about is that there are a very good healthy amount of activity on the server. Also that the Horde tend to dominate the population split, it is usually somewhere in the average ballpark of 55% horde and 45% alliance. It does swing some days to almost 60% horde 40% alliance, but I have yet to see it actually reach those numbers.

Play what makes you happiest and enjoy it! After all, it is only a game :)

if u want to play bgs play alli. if u want to do worldpvp play horde and camp every important flightpoint.

If you want instant battleground pop join Alliance.

Go Alliance, I want faster queue times as Horde and the only way that will happen is if there are more Alliance.

Im leveling a priest alliance side (Styls) with some friends. Holla if you want a leveling friend... =)
